Just acting

Sebastian was in his room, strumming a few chords on his violin when someone knocked ay his door. He put the violin and bow back into the case and opened it, seeing Grell.

"Hey Sebby, you think you wanna go over our parts?"

Sebastian had indeed gotten the part for Jack while Grell got the part for Sally. Miss Red did like Sebastian's acting but it did need some improvements. Of course, Grell was more than happy to help.

"Sure, I'm doing nothing really." He said and grabbed the sheets with all his lines. Grell already had hers and went downstairs into the living room in order to move around and walk to really get into character.

Sebastian followed and looked over his lines and sighed. He did want to do this, not only to help out Grell and the rest of the group, but he was excited. He really liked the play and wanted to do good. He really wanted to impress Grell too, but there was so many parts and lines and songs he had to do.

Grell smiled and put a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry Sebby you'll know all of these lines in no time I promise!"

"That's easy for you to say. I'm not an actor unlike yourself."

"Oh Bassy it's nothing once you get into it! Besides, you've seen the movie right? So you're bound to already know some lines!" She said encouragingly.

She then looked over her own lines and started to speak and act, as if she became Sally herself.

Sebastian watched her for a moment, admiring her long hair pulled into a french braid while her cute crimson cami tank top went perfectly with her black tights.

"Hello?! Earth to Sebastian?!"

He snapped out of his gaze to see her know giving him a look to say that it was now his line.

"Oh! U-Um" He searched for the line, but to no luck. Grell sighed, knowing this would take awhile.

~~Le time skip to four hours later~~

Grell flopped onto the couch, nearly exhausted but very proud. She did it, she finally got Sebastian to remember most of his lines on his own and his acting was top ranking, at least in her opinion.

Sebastian had gone out to get them some food, leaving her alone. She smiled to herself and flipped among her own lines. She chuckled as she read about Jack and Sally singing the final song.

"Oh I love that part." She said, smiling.

"What part?"

She jumped and saw Sebastian standing there with Subway.

"Oh my fucking god you scared me Sebby!!!" She said, throwing a pillow at him.

He chuckled and said

"Sorry!"

"Hmph. But I was talking about the final song. You know, My Dearest Friend?"

Sebastian smiled and put down the food, holding out his arms and hands and started to sing.

"My dearest friend, if you don't mind~
I'd like to join you by your side~ Where we could gaze into the stars~"

Grell smiled and stood up, taking Sebastian's hands and sang with him.

"And sit together now and forever~"

They smiled and even danced a little, Sebastian twirling her and they held hands.

"For it is plain as anyone could see~"

They came a bit closer to each other, Sebastian suddenly realizing how close he was to her. He blushed faintly as he and the girl he loved so much sang softly

"We're simply meant to be~"

Grell was smiling and blushed a bit herself, knowing how close their lips were. Sebastian wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer. Grell then put both her hands gently on his face and leaned in.

Sebastian's heart was pounding like crazy, it was going to happen. He was going to kiss Grell!!!

Grell smiled again and placed both her thumbs onto his lips and kissed those instead.

Sebastian's mind rang out as his eyes were wide, then she pulled away.

"Don't worry Sebby we won't actually kiss, I'll do that at the end ok?"

Sebastian then recomposed himself and laughed it off, faking a smile.

"Oh ok yeah cool! Sheesh you had me scared for a second."

"Oh no I wouldn't do that and ruin our friendship or make it weird! Now let's eat I'm starving. Thanks for the food!"

She smiled and grabbed her sandwich as she headed to the kitchen to get a soda, leaving Sebastian in the living room.

His heart broke a little, the words I wouldn't do that ringing in his head.

Face it Sebastian...she doesn't like you that way. Just let it go...
