Harinu's POV

I grinned happily at Ryuka's acceptance for me to take him out. Since young, I played it off as hanging out with him when really I wanted it to be a date. Doesn't have to be romantic and mushy, just a casual date with us enjoying each other's presence.

I stood up and put my phone in my pocket before grabbing his hand. "Shall we go then?" I asked politely making his eyes widen. He looked at our hands then into my eyes with a slight blush.

"Uh..yeah." He answered standing up, putting his phone away as well. I know this is kinda sudden but why waste the day? I wanted this to last as long as it can.

After looking for my keys for two minutes, I was pulling Ryu into my garage. I stared at my two sport cars and stopped to think.

Maserati...or...Aston...?

"Hm..." I hummed in thought. Both cars are beautiful and fit my mood, but which should I take? I would usually jump back and forth from each car day by day, but I forgot which one I used last since it's been two weeks since I drove anywhere. But something is telling me I drove the Aston last.

"Spoiled rich boy." Ryu grumbled staring at the cars. I looked down at him with a smile.

Yes, I am quite the wealthy person, but I wouldn't say I'm spoiled. When I was younger, my father inherited his retired uncle's company with no idea how much it granted. Not long after, we were moving out of our small house into a mansion not far from where we used to live.

Ryuka's parents have been best friends with mine since they were kids, so there was no way my parents were leaving them behind. A little while after, my father proposed to Ryuka's father to work alongside him in business, resulting with Ryuka's family becoming wealthy not too long after.

"You're wealthy too, Ryu." I said looking back at my cars. "And I'm not spoiled. I bought everything with my own money."

Some would say my parents gave me a bit too much money when I moved out, but that was only if I worked at their business with them. Which I do... occasionally...

When was the last time I went there? I still get checks in the mail.

"You're spoiled, Haru. You don't work and your parents still dump money on you." Ryu said crossing his arms.

I stared. Is he...jealous? That's not really something good to be jealous about. That means I'm lazy.

"Alright. I admit it. I'm spoiled." I said raising my hands and accidentally dropping my keys. Once the keypad hit the floor, the alarm on my Maserati went off and the lights flashed back and forth making us jump. I looked down at him again. "Happy?"

Ryu huffed and picked up the keys. "Looks like we're taking this one today." He said softly as he walked towards the passenger side and climbed in. I sighed, the loud alarm making it unnoticeable as I climbed in as well.

Ryu already had his seatbelt on and was scrolling through his phone, the keys in the ignition. I put on my seatbelt and shut the alarm off starting the car.

"Ello, Midnight!" I chirped at the dashboard off the car. I named my car Midnight the day I got it due to it's dark blue color and white sparkles in the paint. It reminded me of the night sky. He's beautiful.

Yes, I gave my car a gender.

"Oh. Here." I just remembered that where we are going is a surprise. A grabbed the blindfold out of my pocket and leaned near Ryu. He looked at me and raised a brow.

"The hell is that for?" He asked shutting his phone's screen off.

I just smiled sweetly at him. "Where we are going is a surprise so you have to wear this." I explained.
