Chapter 5

It was the next morning and Nicki and Drake just lay looking at each other in silence. They had been like this for the past 15 minutes and neither really wanted to spark the conversation but one of them had to.

Nicki: i thought you didnt want me

Drake: I dont. but i need you. theres a difference

they went back to looking at each other back to the previous silence that was there before. Drake let his hands run through her hair before placing a peck on her lips. She let her hands dance on his abs as she returned the kiss before he pulled her so that she was straddling him. They pulled away and looked each other in the eyes.

Drake: I love you

Nicki: I love you more

she could feel him rising beneath her as she smirked to herself.

Drake: Sorry, i cant help it

she leaned over and let her hand roam his body as she kissed his neck gently before leaving her mark there.

Nicki: well why dont you let me help you

It was later on in the day and Nicki and Drake had now separated again but at least this time there didnt seem to be an argument between them. She was walking down the beach when she felt a pair of eyes on her. she looked round to find drake staring at her from a distance. She smiled at him and he happily smiled back. She was interupted by a familiar voice speaking.

Christian: Hey Stranger

Nicki: Hey

Christian: You Disapeared last night what happened

Nicki: Had to sort out an issue

Christian: Yeah it looked pretty hectic

Nicki: trust me when i say you have no idea

they both chuckled as they now walked down the shore together, just enjoying the greek atmosphere.

Nicki: So what did you get up to with the rest of the little crew

Christian: oh nothing much. we just played some music around a campfire and shared a few jokes. It was quite relaxing actually and fun; just getting to interact with new people

Nicki: yeah. They seemed like they were really nice. Shame i didnt really get the chance to speak to them

Christian: Why dont you join us Wednesday night out at the same spot. They said they're gonna be there again just hanging out like last night. I said id join them and im sure they wouldnt mind if you did too

Nicki: Yeah that sounds good.

it went silent for a little as they just stopped and looked at the crashing waves. Christian just stood with his hands in his pockets and letting the soft breeze move his hair as Nicki stood next to him, taking photos of the picturesque view before her. Neither had much to say at this very point in time b ut it wouldnt be too long before conversation sparked between them.

Drake just stood by the shore smiling, for some reason he felt things could maybe be resolved between him and Nicki. It was Like all they needed to do was step away from the past maybe then they could start something better. Begin from the beginning and nurture it through till they reach satisfaction; till they're both happy with the relationship. Till there is no more hassle or arguements and the only thing they focus on is their careers and the love they hold. No 'one night stands', No 'keeping secrets' just a healthy relationship. When they can accomplish this is would be proven that they are meant to be; that there truely is nothing that can stop them, but back to reality. How long would it take to forget the past. Could they just start again, and completely forget the pain and regret they put each other through or was it not that easy. It seemed so easy just thinkin about it but taking the action was the hard part. Sure they loved each other, that was highly evident through the way they just looked at each other but the question was, in what context? They always liked to think of it as they were truely lovers and that sometime in the future they could begin a happy life; Married, Kids the whole lot but neither had stopped to think that this could of just been what they wanted but not what they actually felt. Were they following their heads more than their heart or were they just living a life of fast cars. These were just a few matters that neither had thought to consider. could that have been the problem. Starting again... that was always the answer.
