Chapter 7

Nicki awoke to the sound of voices downstairs. She looked around and saw the sun seeping through her bedroom window. She reached for her phone on the bedside table only to realise it wasn't there. A slight moment of panic washed over her before she realised that she had fell asleep talking to Drake last night. She looked around under her bed covers and soon found it just next to her. She looked at her notifications and messages before getting out of bed and heading to her in suite where she did her morning routine and took a relaxing shower.

Drake was on his way up to his room to take a shower after his hour spent in his hone gym. He was feeling the best he had done in a while and he felt more relieved after having sorted it all out with Nicki in their break. He walked into his bathroom and turned on his shower. Abel had left the house while he was still asleep so had decided to catch up with him later. he sent Nicki a quick text before heading to get into the shower.

hey beautiful. hope you slept well and I can't wait to see you later x -Drizzy

he put his phone down and headed to take a shower in preparation for his long day with his crew.

Nicki made her way downstairs where she found SB and Malika sat on the table eating breakfast. she just walked in and stood by the door.

Nicki: morning love birds

they both looked at her slightly surprised to see her there.

SB: nic, when did you get back

Nicki: I arrived at about 2 am this morning. thought you wouldn't apreciate me interrupting you from your sleep

Malika: how was your time away.

Nicki: it was refreshing. gave me a chance to just collect my thoughts and organise my mind

SB: yeah run what did you do to Nicki

they all laughed.

Nicki: shut up. anyway where's my breakfast

SB: would've made you some but I didn't realise you were home

Nicki: yeah whatever

SB: I cab make you some if you really want

Nicki: no its fine.

she walked around not gathering the ingredients to make her daily smoothie. she drank one every morning as it was a part of her diet. she continued to talk to them as she proceeded.

Nicki: I'm leaving soon anyway. I need to rub a few errands.

SB: where you headed

Nicki: just need to go and speak to the crew about the collection and I need to make a few finalisations to the album artwork but after that I'm gonna go and relax.

SB: relax?

she ignored his question for a little while as she blended her drink turning it into a light green mixture.

Nicki: yes relax

Malika: with who

Nicki: no one

she gave them both a side eye as she moved the smoothie from the blender to her personalised bottle.

malika: don't lie to us

Nicki: Okay well maybe there is someone.

she walked over to her sink now cleaning all the equipment and appliences she had used.

Malika: what's his name

Nicki: that one is for you to work out.

SB: its Drake isn't it. that explains why you're so happy
