Sunshine

The light was bright.

That came through

The windows and doors.

The morning was lethargic.

With a chilling breeze

Circling the atmosphere.

When you were beside me.

The charm of your eyes

Was warm and comfy.

My heart was at peace.

Knowing you were there

Right beside me.

The joy was unmeasureable

When I was protected

In your arms.

But as the day started to fall,

The sun was covered behind

The curtains of clouds.

Along with it the light

Diminished its brightness

And you, my sunshine were gone.
