CHAPTER 1
Before I know it, the lights turns off by itself snapping me out of my thoughts.
I let out a big sigh knowing tomorrow's going to be another same day, same routine, same everything. I tuck both of my hands under the pillow and stare out of the window.
This room is small, white bricks walls, grey carpeting, small single bed, a desk, a chair, not much.
not much to do here, sometimes I draw, sometimes I write whats on my mind but most of the time, thinking about him.
And also, preparing to be better for Nate.
He said I could be with him again if I get better.
And that's what has motivate me for all these months, to be better for him,
I want to be better for him so I could be with him.
He said I could be with him again if I get better after the incident.
I screw my eyes shut and grip both sides of head to attempt getting rid of the images, my body are sweating and before I realized a single tear coming from my left eye. This is probably the hundreds times I end the night this way, I feel my eyes betting heavy, and heavy... and I slowly drifting off to sleep.
.......
I woke up by the sound of knocks on the door, I rub both of my eyes trying to pull myself together, I glance at the clock, 6.45 am. Why do they knock so early? They always knock on 7.30 am.
I opened the door and its surprise me a little bit because the person that stand in front of me isn't Jourdan,
"What? Why so early?" I asked the black haired woman with her hospital uniform.
"Miss Fox, I want you to come with me" She said to me in a flat tone.
O-Kay?......
With no explanation I follow her and she leads me to the registration.
"Miss Fox, I want you to sign this paper but firstly read all the terms and rules, okay? someone is expecting to see you today." Her fingers pointing at the paper then smiles at me.
Someone is expecting to see me? I smile at the thought, no one has visited me in a long time, too long I even forgot I have an actual friend out there and relatives.
Without reading the term and rules I quickly sign the paper and the lady hand me a water and pills, I take a glance at her, she's checking on the paper.
Great.
I gulp the water down and throw the pills to god knows where, those pills never helped me, all they do to me is making me dizzy and nausea.
"Have you took your pills?" She asks
Not wanting to answer I nod my head.
"Good, now follow me" She continues walking to a room, she stops in a room full of chairs and there is when I spot my mother's dark hair consciously biting on her fingers, wearing a cremé colored sweater and dark brown scarf, she pulled her hair into a loose bun, her brown eyes seems dull, and tired. They are not as bright as I remember, they aren't as bright as the last time I saw them.
But they they light up when they meet mine, there it is. There is her beautiful grey eyes. She stands on her feet and quickly wrap her arms around my body, she rests her head on my shoulder and starts crying, I hug her back, tightly. By the time she pulled back, I look at the nurse that awkwardly stands a few feets from us.
