Jungkook opened his eyes slowly. Yet another day to face the cruel reality. Slowly, he got himself up from the bed.
Just another day. Same routine. Bullshit, bullshit, and more bullshit. From random people who he barely even knew, to people who he once dared to call a bestfriend.
Many, many people were against him. Yet they never gave him a reason.
Is my existence this much of a bother?
He walked into the bathroom, and looked at himself in the mirror. Immediately, his mind began to make only negative thoughts. The young boy sighed deeply.
If anyone could really listen to his 'simple' sigh, they'd be able to to tell that the sigh was hinting tiredness, regret, pain, frustration, and so much more.
Even though it was early in the morning, the seventeen year old was already feeling hopeless. He knew that everything would either stay the same, or worsen.
While the hopeless feeling was still floating in his thoughts, he got himself ready for school. He thought it was better to call it hell, because he felt as if he was in hell when he was there.
Not because of the endless school work, tests, and homework.
To him, school wasn't defined as hell for those reasons. It was defined as hell because of the endless pain he suffered of each and every day he was there. He also called it that because once he was in there, he felt the stinging pain on his body every day due to being ganged up on by many people each day. The stinging pain, was similar to the feeling of being burned by fire.
The brunette finished getting ready and grabbed his backpack, earphones, and phone. After he did that, he headed towards the front door and stood there for a couple seconds before opening it. Once he opened it, he walked out, and locked the door after closing it.
He began to walk towards school, and plugged his earphones into his phone and placed each earphone on his ears. As he walked, he hummed softly to the music he was listening to, but also kept his eyes aware of his surroundings, because he knew that in any moment, somebody could come out of nowhere and beat him up. It had already happened to him multiple times before.
The young boy was lucky enough to make it to school without encountering anyone who would want to hurt him. He walked towards the doors that would give him an entrance to hell.
Sighing deeply once again, he pushed the doors open and walked in. Strangely, nobody was pointing at him, or telling him anything. Everyone acted like he wasn't there. Jungkook thought that if everyone was doing this to bother him, for once, it wasn't working. He actually liked that he was being ignored and not getting bothered by multiple people.
He slowly walked towards the other hallway were his locker was, still keeping an eye out for anyone who would try to hurt him. Even though the hallway was empty, tt was a habit for him now, he never went anywhere without staying alert. He kept on walking, but while being so focused in staying alert, he didn't see the blonde boy in front of him, and with Jungkook's luck, he made both the boy and himself fall to the floor. Jungkook was ready for the worst as he closed his eyes in fear, but opened them after waiting for the unfortunate familiar stinging pain for more than a minute. He knew that when someone tried to hurt him physically, it would only take five seconds for their clutched fist to hit his body. To his surprise, when he opened his eyes, he saw the blonde standing up, holding a hand for Jungkook to take. Hesitantly, Jungkook took his hand and let him lift him up from the ground. He didn't know why he had even considered it, something in the blonde's eyes made him feel something he hadn't felt in quite a while. Safe.
The blonde boy lifted Jungkook up from the floor, and the brunette was fast to give an apology to the boy. "I-I'm so sorry, I should really start paying attention." The blonde chuckled lightly and replied something that surprised Jungkook. "No worries, everybody is always caught up in their thoughts sometimes, but nice to meet you. The name's Taehyung."
The brunette stared at the other in pure shock, clearly taken back by the nice response. Jungkook was used to negative, and only negative comments. Clearly, a kind reply was something he wasn't used to getting.
Finally breaking the awkward silence, Jungkook decided to introduce himself as well. "Um, nice to meet you too. My.. my name is Jungkook." With that, he was about to walk away, since he really didn't know what to do next. To his surprise, the blonde stopped him from leaving. "Uh, sorry, I see you must be in a hurry, but.. I'm new here. And uh, well.. I kinda lost myself. Would you mind to show me around?" Jungkook didn't know what to say. He was now even more shocked. The last time he'd had a decent conversation had been too long ago, in fact, it had been so long ago, he'd forgotten how to even reply. Snapped out of his thoughts, Taehyung spoke again. "I get you're in a hurry. I'll ask somebody else to-" "No!" yelled the brunette. Immediately, he felt embarrassed and apologized. "Sorry about that. It's just, im kind of.. never mind that, but I wouldn't mind to show you around. Im not in a hurry." The blonde smiled at Jungkook, and Jungkook felt a strange feeling he couldn't define.
"Well, let's go then.", replied Taehyung happily.
The boys began to walk, and what they failed to notice was a pink haired boy standing on the end of the hallway. What they had also failed to notice was that the boy standing at the end of the hallway had heard their conversation.
"Oh, Jungkook. I don't know why you haven't gotten it through your head that you're mine, and not anyone else's. Guess I'll have to take this little situation into my own hands once again. And get it through Taehyung, that he needs to stay away. Away from my Jungkook. "
