6. Expose

It's Sunday and Andi and I our currently practicing frisbee to pass some time.

" kat watch out " I hear someone yell and a frisbee flys by me.

" can you get that " Andi says laughing and I run to the frisbee and pick it up but I stop dead in my tracks when I see Amber with another guy.

" Andi lets go " I say walking back and picking up my backpack

" what's wrong " she asks picking up and I explain and she turns red.

" you have to tell him " she says stoping I roll my eyes.

The next day at school we head to the cafeteria and I automatically see Cyrus and Jonas and I swallow the lump that formed in my throat and Andi shoves me there direction and stands at the entrance as I continue my journey to Jonah.

" Hey Kiki kat " Jonah says once he sees me and I wave back at him.

" hey um Jonah can I talk to you like over there " I say pointing at an empty table close to the counter and he replies I quick sure

" what is it " he asks once he sits and I hang my head so low staring at the table thinking about how to tell him.

" i was... well ... um I saw ... um " I stutter and he raises an eyebrow at me god why can't I just say it.

" yesterday I saw Amber at the park with another boy " I stumbled out and he laughs " ok ".

" she was drawing a heart on his hand " I finish and he looks at the

" like this " he asks facing The writing on his hand towards me and I nod and his eyes fall.

" Jonah I'm so sorry " I say and he looks up at me.

" I'm fine I should go wash this off" he says rubbing at the writing.

" yea I guess you should " I say and he looks at me again.

" I'm fine " he says and I already know he's not.

" you already said that " I say and my heart hurts for him.

" I did " he questions and get up and walks out the doors past Andi And Cyrus causing them to hurry after him.

" hey Katarina " I hear a familiar voice behind me and I turn in my chair.

" hey Marty " I say resting my cheek on my palm and he gives me a look that says " tell me ".

" I saw Amber at the park with a guy and I told Jonah and he got upset now I'm pretty sure that he hates me " I stumble out just as I did earlier to Jonah and Marty sits next to me.

" if he hates you he's crazy " he laughs and I smile turning to him.

" about Friday after the par- " I say but I'm interrupted by Andi smaking her hands on the table she's huffing like she's been running.

" jo..Jonah ... he bro...broke up with A...Amber over the phone " she says in between breaths and spitting out the end.

" What " I practically yell and everyone around me looks at me and I give them a ' I'm sorry ' look.

" yea she was mad " she says and the bell rings.

" I'll see you later " Marty says and I wave to him. Hey Andi and I have small talk as we walk to our locker.
