* ding dong *
The sound of the doorbell fills the room and walk to get it. I open the door to find a fairly heighted man with longish curly hair.
" can I help you? " I ask politely and he smiles.
" um this is this Mack residence " He asks looking into the doorway behind me and his eyes light up.
" Bex " he says as she opens the door slightly blocking me out of sight.
" Bowie " she says with her jaw dropped. As on cue Cici walks in.
" HAMMMMM " she yells not realizing he's next to her.
" why are you here " Bex ask and let's the man in.
" I invited him " Pops says and I'm just standing there confused.
" I'm gonna tell them " Bex says and my eyes dart to her then to the man.
" Bowie this is Katarina, Katarina this is Bowie your father " she says and my jaw drops to the floor and so does his.
" I...I have school " I say with tears in my eyes and grabbing my bag and rushing out the door.
About half way to school I bump into Marty and he smiles at me and walks with me.
" Marty... " I say and he looks at me.
" Kat... " He says in return.
" the kiss... " I spit out and his face goes pale.
" I'm sorry about it I just had to kiss you " he says and I nod
" it's ok don't apologize " I say
At school
I walk into school quickly greeted by Andi
" Jonah wants to talk to you " she says with a smile and I nod.
" He's over there, wait what's wrong " she says and I smile
"I'll tell you later I promise" I say before heading Jonah's way.
" hey Kat " he says once I'm standing in front of him.
" hey um Andi told me about the um the break up " I say grabbing the back of my neck and he nods.
" yea um Kat I have a question " he says and my heart stops.
" KATARINA " someone yells from behind us and I turn to find Bowie.
" I'll see you around Kat " Jonah says and turns away.
" Jonah wait what did you wanna ask " I say lightly grabbing his bag.
" I'll tell you later, text me k " he says with a smile and I smile back as he walks away.
" there that her that's my daughter" Bowie says as he walks up along side the principal.
" Kat, Your mom has- " she starts but i interrupt
" Cici or Bex " I ask and she chuckles.
" your Biological mother gave me permission to let you go catch up with you father " she says and I smile.
" let's go " he says grabbing my hand as we run out of school.
