Chapter 3 Possible love

STARFIRES POV

I and Lilith go to the mall and I show her my favorite store.

"Forever 21?"she asks unsure that we're at the right store.

"You're so much like Raven,"I giggle a little and begin picking out the perfect outfit for her.

"I saw one store called Hot Topic maybe they have more clothes that fit me,"she suggests but I grab a dress and heels, shoving her in the changing room.

Maybe I don't have a chance with Robin but she does. I can tell by the way he looked at her in the medical room earlier. The care in his eyes and how worried he was about her. I do have the love for him but he doesn't feel the same or he would have said so by now, anyway I already have a friend thats a boy and he has the love for me.

My phone rings and I smile seeing a text from him. We've been together for almost 6 months and tonight he wants to tell the team that we're together. I text back for him to be at the tower in a hour and I'll meet him there. Lilith come's out in the dress and heels seeming not used to wearing such clothing.

"Star are you sure I should wear this?"she asks gesturing to the dress.

"Yes Lilith I know how you like Robin and you have to catch his attention,"she looks at me embarrassed,"don't worry I have not the jealousy and anger towards you at all."

She smiles,"Do you think he like's me back?"

"Yes but it will be hard to get him to admit it."

"Yeah."

"Well we should get going I want you and the team to meet my boyfriend."

"Boyfriend?"

"Yes we've been the boy and girl friend for almost 6 months and I couldn't be happier!"

She smiles and I pay for the clothes and leave the mall. On our way back my communicator goes off and I answer it revealing a very angry Robin.

"STARFIRE WHO IS THIS GUY!"he turns his communicator to show Kid Flash tied to a chair.

"ROBIN THAT IS MY BOY THATS A FRIEND UNTIE HIM NOW!"

His eyes got big and did as I said. He almost looked heart broken before the screen went blank.

KID FLASHES POV

Robin unties me from the chair and I stand as he walks to his room heart broken that Star just said what she did. I know he loves her but he should've told her that before she met me. Girl's don't wait forever, I learned that with Jinx. My phone goes off and the text I see almost causes me to pass out. This can't be, Jinx, she can't be dead! Behemoth sent me the text telling me she got hurt in battle and remembering our relationship thought I should know. He didn't say shes dead but I knew in my heart she didn't have long. I do love Starfire but a very small piece of my heart will always be Jinx's. I'll always care about her no matter what.

ROBINS POV

I thought I would tell her tonight, but after that call no. She obviously never loved me and has a guy that can treat her like she should be treated. I do love another girl but she would never love me, she's just too much like me. We both have a rough past, no parents, and can tell if you're lying. Yes I'm thinking of Lilith and I'm hoping she doesn't have any surprises that will break my heart. After the whole Star and Speedy thing I need love not more pain.

I come out of my room when a small hand knocks and my jaw drops when I see her. Lilith, in a dress, wearing heels, and makeup, outside my door. I must be dreaming!

"This is reality and yes I'm in a dress," she says smirking as if she read my mind," I'm Raven's sister remember."

"Right, so what do you want to talk about?"

"Come with me," she grabs my hand leading me to the roof.

I see a blanket with a note on it and I look at her," Read it Robin." she tells me smiling.

I pick it up and shock and happiness hits me as I read it.

Robin, I love you and I hope you feel the same way. I have a awful past and I know I'm your friend's sister but I still want to let you in my heart. Please make me happy and say you love me too,

"Lilith I I-"she cuts me off by kissing me and I kiss back.

"I'm happy you feel the same it took a lot of guts for me to do this."

"So I guess this means you have a boyfriend now."

"Yep," she smiles and holds my hand," I used to watch the stars back home and they were the only thing that gave me hope when I needed it."

"You watch the stairs too? I thought I was the only one!" I smile and hold her hand sitting on the blanket. She returns the smile and sits next to me, laying her head on my chest falling asleep. Who knew I would find love with Raven's sister? Or that I would love someone other than Star? And I thought Cupid gave up on me. I kiss her cheek and fall asleep with her.
