Moana Fan Fiction (Maui X Kimi)

Chapter 13: We Have to Go to Te Fiti

"Hey, let us out!" Moana yelled.

"You lying, slimy son of a..." Kimi shouted.

"Mm...Mmm. You're welcome," Maui hummed as he approached the boat.

He was stopped by Mini Maui and he pointed to the cave.

"No...I'm not going to Te Fiti with some kid. And I feel bad about what I did to Kimi, but I can't help her. So, I'm going to get my hook. You have yours, and I'm not Maui without mine," Maui explained.

Mini Maui tried to stop him, but to no avail.

"Okay, talk to the back," he smirked, flicking Mini Maui to his back, then grabbed Heihei, and exclaimed, "Boat snack!"

Moana and Kimi tried to ram into the rock to knock it off, but that didn't matter. Then Kimi remembered something.

"Moana, the statue!" she said.

They looked to see a statue of Maui he made. So they climbed it then pushed against the wall to tip it over. They did and they made it to the opening of the cave. They got back to back and climbed up the small opening (A/N Callback to Emperor's New Groove).

"Good riddance, you filthy pile of pebbles!" Maui yelled as he paddled the boat, noticed Mini Maui giving him a small glare, and responded, "Oh, no, no, no. Don't look at me like that. It's a beautiful cave, they're gonna love it."

He then put Heihei in front of him.

"And I'm going to love you. In my belly. Now, let's fatten you up, drumstick," he smirked as he placed some food in front of the chicken.

Heihei started pecking away from the food, making Maui give him a dumbfounded look. He corrected Heihei to where he was actually eating the food.

Meanwhile, Kimi and Moana made it to the top of the cave and ran to the end of the high rock. They saw Maui and jumped toward him as they yelled. But they both missed and hit the water.

"I can watch that all day. Okay, enjoy the island. Maui...Out!" Maui smirked and the wind blew him further away from the sisters.

"No. Stop!" Kimi yelled.

"Hey, you have to put back the heart," Moana strained.

They weren't planning on letting Maui get away with this. Then Kimi got so agitated that she turned into a dolphin and swam toward the boat. Meanwhile, the ocean aided Moana to get there. They both ended up on there and Kimi turned back to herself and she was shocked. As was Maui.

"Did not see that coming," he said.

Moana turned around and stated, "I am Moana of Motunui. This is my canoe. And you will journey to--"

Then Maui threw her overboard and Kimi jumped in, as a dolphin again, to get her. Mini Maui tried to get Maui to do what they were telling him.

"Alright, get over it. We gotta move," Maui replied.

Then Kimi got her and Moana back on the boat and she turned back to herself.

"And they're back," Maui grumbled.

"I am Moana of Motunui--" Moana repeated then was flung from the boat again.

Just before Kimi could go back to save her, she was brought back because of the ocean.

Maui groaned then asked, "It was Moana, right?"

"Yes. And you will restore the heart," Moana commanded as she showed him the heart.

Maui grabbed it and threw it far. But it came back and hit him square in the face.

"Alright, I'm out," Maui said, jumped in the ocean, but was brought back on the canoe, then whined, "Ahh, come on."

Then he was sprayed in the face.

"What is your problem?" Kimi demanded as Moana picked up the heart, making Maui shutter.

"Are you afraid of it?" Moana smirked, making Kimi do the same.

"No. No, Ha..ha..ha. I'm not afraid," Maui chuckled.

But Mini Maui proved otherwise.

"Stay out of it or you're sleeping in my armpit," Maui warned him then told the sisters, "You stop it. That is not a heart. It is a curse. The second I took it, I got blasted out of the sky. And I lost my hook. Get it away from me."

"Get this away?" Moana asked, smiling.

"This is too much!" Kimi giggled.

"Hah...hey...hey...I'm a demigod, okay? Stop that, I will smite you. You wanna get smote? Smoten?" Maui wondered then continued, "Listen, that thing doesn't give you power to create life. It's a homing beacon of death. If you don't put it away, bad things will come for it."

"Come for this? The heart? You mean this heart right here?! Come and get it!" Moana shouted while Maui tried to get her to stop.

Kimi laughed and responded, "You're amazing, little sis."

Maui stopped what he was doing and looked from Kimi to Moana then back to her as he asked, "This is the girl you told me about? Because she's gonna get us all killed."

"Yep. She hasn't changed a bit and I'm proud of her. And no, we both are going to get us all to Te Fiti so you can put it back," Kimi answered, putting her arm around Moana.

"Thanks, big sis," Moana responded.

"You're welcome!" Kimi mimicked Maui.

Then a spear came out of nowhere and pierced the canoe. Maui pulled it out and both he and Kimi looked at it.

"Kakamora," Kimi gasped.

"Kaka...what?" Moana asked.

"Murdering little pirates. Wonder what they're here for," Maui said.

"It's not just the heart they want," Kimi said.

"What do you mean?" Moana asked.

"I ran into quite a few enemies during the four years I was on the sea. And the Kakamora were one of them," Kimi confessed.

"Well then you need to stay out of sight. Because this could get ugly," Maui remarked.
