They made it into the water and it looked like a never-ending tunnel. Finally Maui made it to the end of it, flipped over a vine, then landed perfectly.
"And he's sticks the landing. Huh?" Maui replied, pointing to Mini Maui.
His tattoo self gave the sisters two more points.
"What? Dumb-dumb, Moana's not even here. Kimi's coming so it should be two to one. No mortal's gonna jump into the realm of mon--" Maui started.
Mini Maui pointed up and Maui followed it. He saw Kimi falling, so he caught her.
"You sure you're not the damsel in distress type?" he smirked.
"I'm sure, but you might be," she smirked back then pointed up.
He followed it to see Moana coming down. So he got Kimi out of the way, but Moana landed on Maui and bounced further down below. Maui and Kimi looked to where she fell.
"Well...she's dead. Okay, let's get my hook," Maui decided.
"She is not dead," Kimi said, a little agitated.
"Sorry, but mortals can't survive down here. But if you want, we can cover more ground by you looking for your sister and I'll look for my hook," Maui suggested.
"Fine. But you got to treat her better. She's stronger than she looks," Kimi responded before heading to look for Moana.
She was tangled in the tongue of a huge lizard. Before she was eaten, a plant ate the lizard and the tongue and Moana fell to the ground. Moana ran further until she looked around the place. It had beautiful plant life, but dangerous creatures around. (A/N Just wondering: did anyone else notice that Godzilla was in Lalotai?) One creature saw her and approached her. Kimi jumped out of nowhere and kicked the creature into a geyser, making it shoot up into the water.
"Hey, little sis," Kimi panted.
"Hey. Thanks," Moana responded.
"You're welcome. Now let's go find Maui," Kimi instructed.
They kept going until they came to a cave. They looked inside to see a pile of treasure with a huge hook on top.
"Maui's fish hook," Moana whispered.
"Yeah," Maui whispered from behind.
Moana punched him in the face. Both her and Kimi gasped at that, but Kimi tried to hold in her laughter.
"Sorry. I thought you were a monster, but we found your hook and you're right. This Tamatoa really likes the treasure," Moana explained as Maui picked her up by her head and brought her away from the cave entrance.
"Stay," he commanded her like she was a dog then added, "Kimi, guard her."
"What?" Kimi asked.
"No. We're-- We're the ones who--" Moana stated.
"Listen. For a thousand years, I've only been thinking about keeping this hair silky, getting my hook, and being awesome again. And it's not getting screwed up by a mortal, who has no business inside of a monster cave except--" Maui explained as he put his long hair in a bun.
Then he noticed leftover treasure on the ground and got an idea.
"Except...maybe as bait," he smirked.
Both sisters were confused at this. What was this guy up to now?
