It was a dark dreaded night. Fires were set loose into the kingdom, engulfing everything in its path with its violent flames. The skies were covered with smoke and ember as houses burned down due to the extreme heat. A great battle was being held on the large streets of the city. The palace walls have then been breached. The once mighty kingdom of Gracia was under siege and was about to fall into the hands of the invaders. All of its men and women were held captive. Those who fought were killed on sight. No one was safe. It seems that their Gods had turned their backs on them. The whole kingdom together with its people were all destined to be doomed.

From the darkness of the forest came a man, a tall, good postured man, wearing a rugged jacket and a red long scarf on his neck that flowed with the wind and whose face was covered with a hood and a mask which only showed his blue glowing eyes. Wielding only his two cane shaped swords and a strap bag he went inside the kingdom's walls.

It was an unlikely welcome for a man who had just revisited home after 7 years. But though the city was in chaos none of those seemed to bother him. His cold blue eyes looked straight and forward for what he hopes to find. The war wasn't his problem. He came there for something else, something very important to him that nothing can ever obscure his vision from it. He will do anything to find it, he will kill anyone for it, he will face anything to grab hold of it. Nothing can ever stop him from his goals, he was determined he was sure, even death can't stop him.

He made few steps going further inside the kingdom. He gazed carefully at everyone and everything. Men killing each other, families being slaughtered like animals, everything was burning that even the air was scorching hot, an unbearable scenario even for the strongest of hearts. But for this man who kept on walking the body riddled streets, everything seemed perfectly normal.

He kept on his pace without stopping at anything. His presence slowly crept the war torn streets. Anyone who had noticed him, invader or local alike, were all turned to stone when he passed by. Word quickly spread about his coming. All of them were shocked when they saw him. With his blue eyes all of them were afraid. Before him they trembled. He shook the very foundations of that kingdom by his arrival. All of their eyes opened wide and stare at him in awe. A demon, a monster, the fabled Assassin of Dimesca passes by.

As the stranger got further inside the kingdom he noticed a cage on the side of the streets that seemed to be abandoned. He walked closer to it and saw an old thin man inside staring blankly at him. He waved his hand and realized that the man was blind. He walked closer to him and placed a tight grip on the metal bars. The blind man felt his presence.

"If you're here to kill me, then do it. I am old and blind. The world has no good use of me anymore." The blind man said.

"You can still be a use to me. I need you to guide me." The stranger replied with his deep low voice.

"Guide you to where?" The blind man seemed doubtful of helping him.

"I am looking for your kingdom's Oracle. Would you tell me where he might be right now?"

"Why ask me? There are many more men out there who could help you." The blind man was still doubtful.

"They say the blind could see better than those who have eyes because they don't see what a person looks like rather they see him from what he is from the inside."

"I see a broken man inside of you. I don't trust you."

"Just please tell me now so I could leave you alone." The stranger's voice gotten deeper.

"Alright boy" the blind man finally agreed. "But first, you must free me from this cage. There is a key which is held by my cell keeper. He is probably out there somewhere fending off the enemies."
