Bucky
Amazing.
That's the only word you can use to describe Catherine fighting. She moves with the same grace as a dancer, but has the fierceness as a warrior. And the way she took down Clint and Thor with such ease, is pretty impressive.
I was actually a little surprised how easily she took down Thor. Sure, Clint may be a highly trained assassin and everything, but he's one of the easiest to take down. But Thor, he's been trained since he could walk how to fight. He may be big and bulky, but he can move fast when he wants to.
Catherine helps Thor up, and he limps over to sit next to Clint with a wince. Catherine got his ribs and hip pretty good, and I wouldn't be surprised if she broke or shattered the ribs. Natasha gets up, and walks over to Clint and Thor, and helps them tend to their wounds.
Catherine walks over to stand infront of us, putting her hands on her hips and popping her hip. "Who's next?" She asks with a raised eyebrow. Steve and I look to each other, not really wanting to go against the girl who already kicked some of the best fighters asses.
I sigh, and slowly stand up. Catherine's eyes dart to me, and watch me the whole time as I walk over to her. She tilts her head back slightly to keep eye contact with me, and I tilt my head down to keep eye contact. She stares up at me, her green eyes shinning in the light, and I can't help but notice the blue and yellow that swirls into the green.
"So, you're up to the challenge to fight me?" I raise an eyebrow in amusement, a slight smirk crosses my face. "Perhaps, but it's your ass I'm going to kick." Catherine rolls her eyes. "Are we just going to talk, or are we going to fight like you say we are?" Catherine asks, getting into a fighting stance.
I get into a similar stance, and we start circling each other, looking for weaknesses and sizing each other up. Catherine has her body closed off and her defenses up, like she expects me to attack first, and that's exactly what I'm going to do.
I send a punch towards her head, and she easily dodges. I send another one to her shoulder, and she moves out of the way and grabs my wrist. She twists my arm and knees me in the gut. I bend over slightly, the air knocked out of me.
Catherine sends a kick towards me, hitting my hip then my shoulder. I stand back up, and send out a kick. She blocks and sends a kick back.
We keep on going back and forth, sending kicks and punches, and easily blocking or dodging them. It isn't until Catherine kicks my feet out from under me that it's an even fight. I stare up at her, her green eyes staring down at me. "Give up?" I don't answer, I just wrap my hand around her ankle and pull her down.
She lands with an thump, and I roll over to pin her down with my body. She glares up at me with anger in her eyes, probably because she was so easily pinned down. "Give up?" I ask, tightening my grip on her wrists. Her eyes flash black quickly, which catches me by surprise. She blinks her eyes a few times, but her eyes keep on flashing between green and black.
I let go of her wrists, and get up to sit on my heels. She starts shaking violently, her eyes flashing rapidly between black and green. "What's happening?" Steve asks, concern laced in his voice. I shake my head, having no clue what's going on.
Catherine continues shaking, until her eyes turn back to green. "I'm sorry, I-," but she's cut off when her eyes turn black and they stay black, and a snarl tears out of her mouth. My eyes widen, I know exactly what's happening. "Her wolf is trying to take over." I state. Catherine's body continues to shake, until the noise of breaking bones and tearing clothes fills the room.
In the spot Catherine was, now stands her wolf, snarling, eyes pitch black, and anger rolling off of her body. I send a look over to Steve, but he just stares at the snarling wolf, fear creeping its way into his eyes.
I stand up slowly from my crouched position, worried if I move too fast I'll startle her and cause her to attack. Catherine keeps her eyes trained on me and teeth bared, and I put my hands out infront of me to show her I mean no harm.
"Catherine I know you're in there, you need to fight her. You're stronger than her," I say, keeping my eyes on the white wolf infront of me. She growls and starts circling me, stalking me like I'm the prey, and in this case I am. "You need to fight her Catherine, you can't let her take control of you."
Catherine keeps circling me, snarling the whole time. I keep my eyes trained on her, watching her every move. I hear movement, and I look up to see Steve and Natasha making their way over to us. Catherine whips her head over to them, and growls at them, stopping them in their tracks. "Stay away, she might attack you." As soon as I say that, Catherine lunges.
She latches onto to my metal arm, and shakes her head back and forth as if she's trying to take it off of my body. I try and stay standing, but the force of her shaking causes me to fly back and forth as she shakes. When she finally lets go of my arm, causing me to fly across the floor. I look down at my arm and there's dents in the metal and I can't move my arm.
She comes charging at me again and she rakes her claws across my ribs. I ignore the pain on my side, grab her snout, and attempt to pin her on the ground. Have you ever tried to pin a wolf the size of a horse onto the with one arm and hurt ribs? No? Well it's extremely hard.
I struggle to keep my grip, the others coming over to help. Just as they get close enough to pin her down, my hand slips, and she gets up. She whips around on me, ignoring the others trying to get her attention away from me. I back away from her, keeping eye contact. That's probably not the best thing to do, but I need to see if she realizes what she's doing.
Catherine growls at me, anger in the pitch black eyes that don't belong to her, and she gets ready to pounce on me, when suddenly her eyes turn green. Regret and fear and so many other emotions swirl in her beautiful green eyes.
Cracking bones fills the silence, and Catherine stands in the middle of us butt naked, but that doesn't draw my attention, but the tears sliding down her face. She collapses onto the floor, and before I know what I'm doing, I pull her into my arms, and rock her back and forth trying to calm her down.
She keeps on muttering how sorry she is, and how she's a monster.
"Hey, you're not a monster," I whisper to her, trying to keep her calm. I look up to Steve and Natasha, surprise in their eyes, them never seeing me like this.
I keep rocking her back and forth in my arms, until Catherine's tears stop and her breathing evens. I looks down to see she fell asleep, her fists curled tight around my shirt. I slowly stand up, shifting her so that I can carry her with one arm, and walk out of the training room.
