"Laura ! " I answered excitedly.

" Yes " She answered back happily.

" Well, " I started. I was going to ask her why Steven was sweet talking her but I'll wait till she gets here. " Never mind. When you getting here ", I asked her.

" Pretty soon. I mean by tonight I should be there ", She told me. Seattle to California. Pretty wild.

" Really!?. Oh, whoopie ! ", I said while having the biggest smile across my face.

" Yeah, plane stopped for a while right now. ", She told me.

" Okay, well, be safe. ", I told her. I loved Laura ! She was literally a bestfriend -- Duff, Laura & I would go out all the time as kids & hang out. Our little gang, now Duff is in a band, in gigs. It's crazy.

" I will. But yeah, Can I speak to Duff real quick before I go ", She said anxiously.

I looked for Duff & of course he was right behind me.

" Laura wants to talk to you ", I told him as I handed over the phone.

" Hey, girl ! ", Duff said acting like a girl.

He was such a dork. Haha

" Yes ! I know it's exciting "

" Don't worry ". " I miss you, too, man " I was hearing Laura & Duff's conversation & Duff seems pretty happy about her coming to stay. Most likely she'll be living here as well.

" Alrighty, bye bye " Duff hunged up.

" So what happened. ", I asked him excitedly.

" Oh, nothing much, just telling me how she is shocked that I'm in a band now, she misses us & she doesn't want to be a bug to us but she isn't so yeah ", Duff nodded to me as he smiled.

" Yeah, Duff I was thinking, " I said giving him a bad news face.

" What's up ", Duff said concerned.

" Let's go to the backyard ", I told him.

We went out to the backyard & sat on the chairs under the umbrella that was being up by the table under it.

" Maybe we shouldn't kiss in front since Laura is going to be here ", I suggested.

" What !?. No, no no, c'mon ! Please ", Duff whined.

" What? We can't let her know about this " I told Duff seriously with an angry look. I didn't want Laura to know that Duff & I were getting friendly, really friendly with each other -- it would've made her shocked. Probably even disgusted by our actions. Duff would always beat up the bullies for us & now he is beating up this pussy, it would just kill the magic since we all use to hang out & be the best of buddies. I couldn't let that happen.

" Okay, maybe ! Just maybe. We can kiss when she isn't around ", Duff told me.

" How? Someone might joke about it ! ", I told him.
