Altamira Quinn

I stood uneasily, gasping for breath. I am never doing that again.

That was a close call.

I surveyed my surroundings. A bookstore? Or perhaps a library. But by the looks of it, I'm guessing its the latter.

That man nearly caught me. He was one of my grandfather's henchmen. EVIL henchmen. Well, that's on my opinion. Considering I almost fell inside an open manhole during our chase. How he recognized me, I don't know. And why my grandfather specifically asked him to fetch me for him like I was a gift package, I also don't know.

I blindly stumbled into this library. I hadn't been able to think where I was supposed to go. I just ran — leaving Rose. Ugh so stupid of me. I quickly sent Rose a message. Telling her I wont be joining her for the rest of the concert. And the way home. And for the rest of her life.

Well, I didn't include the last part there.

That man just came up on me, He knew immediately who I was. Despite the dyed hair and — of course. The beanie. I face palmed myself. Stupid. Of course he'd recognize me. The beanie covered most of my dyed hair and gave off my little camouflage. "Hey, Its Altamira Quinn! Quick, catch her before she runs away again."

Genius.

I discarded the damned beanie. Maybe another evil henchman might notice me. I couldn't afford that.

They might drag me out of Boston and ship me to Seattle, to my grandfather. Dying grandfather, my rational self says. But hell, dying or not, I'm not going back. He made it certainly clear that I wasn't going back anymore. But why the sudden change?

"....Your grandfather wants to see you." The evil henchman said.

I didn't stick around and see what else he had to say. I just ran.

It was pretty obvious. He was wearing a tux. And some earpiece. Obvious.

I dropped my bag. It landed on the floor with an audible thud.

"Is someone else there?" I heard someone say. A girl perhaps.

Of course there's someone else. What did you expect? Bloody Mary? The ghost of the library?

Who ever she was, she didn't speak again. I slung my bag back on my shoulder. And quietly took off to see where she was.

"Hey Camilla, Do you think this time travel shit can work?" I heard the girl say.

Time Travel?

"I dont know Katherine. But it should. Or else Ashley's life would be nothing." The girl, Camilla, replies

"Lets just hope Mr. Pete isnt a crazy man with issues." Katherine said.
