First Date pt 1

Slowly and reluctantly, I uncover my face. I blink, close my eyes, and blink again. Streaks of sunlight penetrate the window and blind me. I sit up, drag my feet off the bed, and rub my knuckles onto my eyes. I stretch my arms above my head and yawn. I watch my legs dangle above the off-white polyester carpet.

I finally take a shower and brush my teeth before curling my hair and getting ready for my subjects for the day.

I walk to the living room and see everyone there already ready to part ways or eating breakfast.I walk into the kitchen and see Luna was cooking some eggs.

I quietly walk to the counter and take an apple before pausing to tell her something.

''I'm sorry for ruining your relationship''She stabbed the knife in her hand on the board she was cutting onions and peppers before growling.

''If you don't leave this kitchen, I will stab you''I quickly scurry away and get to my first class of the day.

Thank God my classes were done I thought as I dried my skin for my date.It was afternoon and almost everyone was sleeping but me.I mean I was quite exhausted myself but I had a date.I did a little more makeup than what I usually do and wore a big knitted sweater my grandma made for me with some with jeans and converse.I straightened then curled my hair so it could look fresh and new.

I get up and go to the cafe he told me to meet him at.

''Where are you going''Kalila said.

''Out''I roll my eyes and she snickered saying.

I pick up my phone and rush to the cafe I told Ellie to meet me.I overslept and now I was sprinting to the cafe she was at.I reach there in 3 minutes and I see her and I walk to her smiling.She looked so beautiful sitting their with a cup of tea by her side as she smiled at me.

''I thought you stood me up''she said and I blush as she sighed relieved.

''I would never but i did over sleep after my hockey practice''

''Fairly Good reason to be late''she laughed.I sat down and she started apologising again''

''I'm really very sorry for accusing you of cheating with Luna.I was just very suspicious of you guys relationship and it started adding up.''

''It's okay.I know it hurt her more because she and Cameron were together for so long and it really hurt her that he choose your judgement over hers.She loves him so much and with out him she will never be vulnerable or kind to anyone again''

She sighed and I saw her eyes water a little before she wipes it away and smiles.

''So you like hockey''

''Yea my dad use to play it with me''

''Why did they kick you out''

''They found out I was on drugs and they didn't want a failure as a son''

''I'm sorry you had to go through that''she said softly.

''It nothing compared to what Luna went through''

''What do you mean''she asked confused.

''It's not my place to tell but all I can tell you is she is really brave and strong and she hates when it's brought up''

''I heard her Mom died''

''Yea one of the worst times I had ever seen her broken, the three of us have been best friend since we were 2 and it hurt Cameron and I when she felt like she wanted to die''

''I thought she was just a stuck up bitch''My eyes widen at her use of 'wonderful words'.

''That's what she wants people to think''

''Oh okay ''She said softly before cheering up

''So you like singing huh''she smirked.

''Yea it's one of the things I wold really want to pursue in the future''

''Why do you use girls''she asks not aware she said it and I look at an smirk

''Because I love sex and being one girl could be boring''

She looked at me angrily before saying

''So being with me will be boring''I panic and start saying frantically.

''I didn't mean you''She stood up to leave and the only way I could stop her was kiss her.

3rd person

  He kissed her and the world fell away. It was slow and soft, comforting in ways that words would never be. His hand rested below her ear, his thumb caressing her cheek as their breaths mingled. She ran her fingers down his spine, pulling him closer until there was no space left between them and she could feel the beating of his heart against her chest.  

''That was my first kiss''she breathed.

''Then I hope it will be your best ''

''I'm sure it will be ''she said before leaning in again until their lips were fully connected.They pull apart and smile at each other before he said

''You will never be boring''
