I JUST WITNESSED A CAR CRASH

so me, my family, and some friends are going to Dallas, Texas for a soccer tournament

as we were driving on the highway, we see a gold mini van and a large Budget truck next to each other

The mini van was trying to drive passed the truck and the truck litERALLY RAMMED INTO THE MINI VAN TO NOT PASS

my mom screamed, my sister screamed, my eyes became large bubbles and my heart began beating so hard you could literally hear it from across the room

Our friend, who was driving, slammed the brakes, hoping to avoid the crash

The gold mini van's "front" (idk what the name is for it) flew off and the mini van began spinning.

The whole highway lanes stopped

Both our car and the rest of the entire right side of the highway stopped

Then my mom said, "let's call the police to report the accident and get help"

Right after my mom said that, we saw the truck accelerate away from the crash

I had just witnessed both a car crash and a hit and run

I started screaming at my sister, " CALL THE COPS!"

my mom started screaming, "GET THE LICENSE PLATE!"

Our friend accelerated the car to catch up with the truck

My sister put the license plate onto her notes app and called the police

The operator asked us many questions. We gave them the license plate and every single detail of the crash; the crash location, and the detail of the cars.

HAVE IN MIND THAT WE WERE IN LOUISIANA

A STATE IN WHICH WE DO NOT LIVE IN

so they said that they would handle it

i hope the mini van driver is ok and that the truck driver gets caught
