Chapter Twelve: Confessions
"Guys, I don't see why this matters" I said, huffing and sitting down on the grass.
"It matters because he keeps bothering you" Grayson replied, giving me a look.
"Okay but like, we should be focusing on more important things" I retorted, giving him the same look he gave me.
"Like what?" Travis said, unhappy about the Mikey and I situation.
"Like those twins that keep bothering Michelle" I replied, looking over at Michelle who was cuddled up next to Ryan.
"They need to get the long stick out of their ass and grow up" Michelle muttered as Ryan kissed the side of her head.
"No what they deserve is a big ass whooping" Lottie said, making me choke on my water.
"You're still not off the hook from not telling me about this" Travis interjected, bringing the topic back up.
"What was I supposed to say? 'Hey Travis, Mikey showed up at my house and kissed me.' No."
"Something would've been nice" he mumbled, looking over at Mitchie and Lottie who were discussing the whole twin situation.
"You do realize he will not stop any time soon right?"
"What do you mean?" Grayson asked, changing his expression slightly.
"He's Mikey, he won't stop until I either agree to go out with him or get a boyfriend. But either one of those options won't happen any time soon." I explained.
"That case, I might have to have a small chat with him" Travis said, his hand turning into a small fist.
"I'll join in too" Grayson added.
"Okay stop right there, I am not going to let you two gang up on him."
"Why the hell not?" Travis asked.
"I may not like the guy but I don't want to see him in the hospital. And, I certainly don't want to see both of you get campus clean up for two weeks." I said, crossing my arms and glaring at them.
"It would be worth it" Travis huffed, releasing the fist he was making.
"Look, I appreciate that both of you care about me and want to do something, but I have it under control."
"How?" Grayson asked.
"Um.." I trailed off, not having an answer. I hadn't thought that far if I'm being honest. I figured giving them some sort of reassurance would relax them but it did the opposite.
"Great, good to know you have this under control" Travis said, rolling his eyes at me.

"Are you and the girls going to get food later?" Bailey, one of my teammates, asked as she walked with me.
"I'm not sure, I guess it'll depend on what Coach makes us do today." I responded, gripping the strap of my duffle bag.
"Hopefully she's in a good mood today, the past couple of days haven't been fun" she admitted, fixing her hair.
"Well that's Coach Blue for you, but the games are getting tougher so we need all the practice we can get." As we progressed with volleyball, everything became tense and we were constantly practicing and getting better. We can't be perfect but we can sure improve. As these games put pressure on us players, it puts a whole lot of pressure on Coach Blue.
