"Hey mom what's for dinner?" I asked as I walked down the stairs. You know, sometimes food is just the important thing in life and you can't help but think about food all the time.
"Well sweetie I'm not sure yet, but that reminds me, since we are new to the neighborhood, the lady across from us came by earlier today and invited us over for dinner tomorrow night so that's what we're doing tomorrow." She said as she walked towards the living room.
"Alright then that should be fun." I said . We walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa.
We both watch what ever was on TV which was honestly one of my favorite shows, The Vampire Diaries.
We moved to Atlanta Georgia about a week ago and have finally began to get settled in. Today is Friday August 4th and unfortunately I have to go to school on Monday.
Like honestly this is not ok.
Anyways, I'll be attending Milton High as a Junior and I'm honestly pretty nervous.
I mean I'm gonna be the new kid which sucks but I guess I just have to go with it.
We moved here from San Antonio, Texas. My home. I was born and raised there but I guess now this will eventually become my home as well.
Even though Texas was my home, it was too hot. And me being hot natured didn't help. I hated the heat and I would feel extremely sick if I didn't have some sort of air on me. Weird, I know.
My little puppy, Aurora brought me out of my thoughts as she jumped up onto my lap and began licking my face.

She was a surprise from my mom as a 'sorry we're moving' gift. But honestly when it came to my little Aurora, I'd move anywhere. I loved her so much and I wouldn't trade her for the world.
I giggled and rubbed her back and played with her face causing her to get even more excited and began to jump on me.
"Hey mom I think I'm gonna take Aurora on a walk around the neighborhood." I said as I stood up from the couch.
"Alright sweetie. Are you actually gonna walk or are you gonna ride your board thingy." My mom said causing me to laugh.
"It's called a penny board!" I shouted causing my mom to laugh. "And yes I'm taking it. When have I ever walked?" I questioned.
"True, just stay in the neighborhood sweetie and don't talk to strangers." She said as she looked over at the TV screen.
I walked to the big bowl we keep by the door filled with different kinds of leashes, toys, and other things for Aurora.
I grabbed one at the same time I grabbed my blue and pink penny board. I hooked her up as she was continuously barking and jumping.
I chuckled and opened the front door and walked her outside while I shut it behind me.
