The photo above is of Diomedes.
The door to the holding cell Faith was in swung open. However, Faith, still knocked out from her and Diomedes last meeting.
In walked in a woman. Dark brown hair, in a tight sock bun. Glasses that framed her oval shaped face, as well as her crystal blue eyes. She dressed professionally. Her black pants looked to be well too expensive for her to be dealing with low chain scum like Diomedes. Her blouse pink and frilly proved that. "Jesus, man. Did you really have to beat her this hard?"
Diomedes snarled, "I did what I had to do. You know those men would have tried to threaten my position if I didn't show dominance over her after the way she talked back at me." The woman glared at him. "Oh. Don't give me that. You know it's damn well true."
"You know it's damn well true." She mocked. "That's bull. You went way harder on her than needed. Some of these bruises are seriously swelling." She glanced back at Faith then turned her attention toward Diomedes. "You can't keep doing this to her. And why did you lie to her? You know you didn't kill her mother. That was-"
"Shut up." Diomedes commanded. "Shut up. If she fucking hears that then she'll just fight back even more. She'll want to get out. We can't let that happen. I know it's bad right now but it's safer for her here."
"Really Captain Dipshit? She is on the brink of damn near death and you are saying it is better here than if Ferro's gang catches her?"
Diomedes rolled his eyes at her comment. "Listen. I brought you to do one thing. Fix her. Not give me advice on how to make her life easier. So do your job. I'll be outside if you need anything." And with that Diomedes exited the room and lock both unconscious Faith and the woman in the same room.
The woman rolled her eyes. "Did you really have to lock the damn door. It's not like she is going anywhere."
"Pretty positive telling me the fucking obvious wasn't apart of you job description either." Diomedes screamed through the steel door.
She rolled her eyes and began examining Faiths wounds. Faith was lucky she had tough skin. Only one place on her body had been so damaged that the skin had broke and that was on her neck. This was good and bad at the same time. The good part was that it was the only broken piece of skin. The bad part was that the neck had many connections throughout the body, so if it did get infected it would be nothing good. As the woman rummaged through her back that she had with her, also expensive looking.
Faith had heard a noise and became unaware of her surroundings as she woke up.
Grazed at first. She heard a man and a woman speaking. Then she heard the door shut again. Faith thought she could sleep and try to regain some of her health again, but that wasn't the case when she realized that she was no longer alone in the room. Forcing herself out of sleep mode she jerked her body forward to sit up. "Woah. Easy. Easy there sweet cheeks." Sweet cheeks? What the hell did she just call me? It wasn't a woman that Faith recognized. No one she had even seen before. Faith tried to focus in her eyes in the woman who had a soothing and calming voice, but it was no use with both eyes swollen. She closed her eyes and waited for the worst.
Suddenly she felt something warm clasping around her hands. And at the same time, felt something cool and wet in between her hands. "Drink this. She heard the voice say. It will help the swelling go down." Hearing that it would help made Faith hesitate. She figured with the bottle now left in her hands. "Please." The voice said, "I don't wanna see you get hurt anymore than you already are." For some reason Faith went with her instincts.
What was the worse that could come from it? Some drug to knock her out or make her high from the pain was a blessing at this point. And she had already been promised that she wasn't going to get death until she begged for it, so what was to come from drinking the unidentified liquid.
