We All Fall Down

Late night encounters

So it's currently midnight, Jons asleep and Sterling could care less if I left the house as long as I came back eventually. I got a few hours of sleep earlier so I'm not too worried about not being able to stay awake later in school. I wonder aimlessly around the forest near my house thinking of absolutely nothing. I just let loose, I don't feel a need to hide who or what I am. It's very rare for me to get the opportunity to do this so I enjoy it to the fullest. I stop at a tree and lean my back against it. I close my eyes and take in the smell of the beautiful forest around me.
"Well, well, well, what do we have here?" An oddly familiar voice says
My eyes shoot open and look in the direction the voice came from. It was a tall man with pail skin back hair and wearing all black looking down at his feet.
"I didn't expect to see you out here so late at night. In fact shouldn't you be home asleep?" The mysterious man said
I could just melt to the sound of his voice, but why did it sound so familiar. I looked at him confused for a moment. Then the man looked up at me with black eyes and a smirk on his face, it was my music teacher.
"You know a pretty girl like you should be roaming around anywhere alone?" Mr. Black said
He's a demon. My music teacher is a demon and a sexy one too. I couldn't help but to laugh at myself for a moment. He looked at me as if he were surprised or something.
"I'm sure I can handle myself Mr. Black." I gave him s sweet smile
"Please call me Draven." He smiled back and his eyes turned blue.
"Would you like to join me Draven?" I offered him a spot on the ground near me.
He happily sat in front of me never looking away from me. And I soon realized why. He was looking at the scars that liter my arms.
"Hey, hey I'm not to judge don't worry." He gently grabbed my left arm and ran his thumb against wrist.
"Why'd you do it?" He asked calmly
"My brother he got hurt really bad and I felt like it was the only way to save him. But then I felt the need to do it over and over again. Because I thought it was my fault he got hurt. Which kinda was." I said looking down
"What exactly happened?" Draven asked
"I brought another vampire home and he bit my brother. I thought all vampires could control there thirst like the rest of my family. But I guess not, live and learn right?" I answered
His eyes sparkled in the moonlight as he smiled and nodded.
"So your a vampire?" Draven asked
"Mhm partly. I stop aging on my 21 birthday." I answered
"Well it's an honor be in in the presence of such a beautiful creature such as yourself." Draven smirked
We sat there and talked about pointless things we and for once I didn't feel like I was unwanted in the world.
