and then there was light.

in the beginning.

i was atheist up until i was nine years old.

as you may imagine, it's a little difficult to completely change your view on the way the world works. and of course, i still struggle with my belief.

the biggest problem is that i don't really have anyone to talk to when i have questions, so i kind of have to figure the whole thing out myself. my family doesn't want me to go to church, at least until i'm 18. so, yeah. i'm kind of on my own.

but of course, i didn't become christian out of nowhere. my parents are still really awesome in that every summer, they let me go to an awesome bible camp. 

and the year i was nine was the first year i got to go. it was also the year that i met a really nice counselor. i'm not going to say her name on here for privacy reasons, but this counselor changed my life.

and according to a letter i got from her a week ago, i changed hers, too.
