Lily
I grab all my stuff and put it in a bag then walk home. Not Tom's home, or Cait's, but home home. I can't go back to Tom's, and Cait has so much going on. I have no choice. I knock on the front door. When it opens he sneers. My dad. He grabs my hair and drags me in. 'This time I'm locking your door AND window' he sneers. 'Oh, and there's a boy staying here. So no funny business. If he tries to get it on with you, let him because his parents are very rich so we have to keep them on our good side' 'Yes dad' I whisper. 'put your stuff in your room and come and meet him' He snaps. I chuck my stuff on my bedroom floor. He opens the guest room and in there I see a boy. About 6ft, blonde hair and blue eyes. His skin is tanned. 'This is my daughter. Introduce yourself child' he spits at me. 'Hi, I'm Lily. I'm 16' I say. He shakes my hand. 'I'm Jackson. I'm 17, nearly 18' he introduces. Dad squeezes my shoulder. 'Remember what I said' he growls. I nod. 'Okay dad' I whimper. He walks out. 'That dad of yours is a right ass hole' Jackson states. 'Yup' I nod. I look out the door and shut it. 'You have no idea how bad it gets around here. He's not gonna hurt you, but he'll hurt me. That's why I left' I say fastly. 'Why come back?' he asks. 'Where I was staying, I couldn't deal with the lad there. I couldn't go to either of my friends cuz its..complicated' I explain. 'well, I'm glad you came back' he smiles. I blush. 'Its gonna get a bit less bleh around here' he smirks. Suddenly, the door opens. Dad walks in and drags me out by my hair. 'No! Stop! You're hurting me!' I scream. 'Shut up, or you'll get the belt' he growls down my ear. 'Let go!' I scream. He throws me in my room and locks the door. I try to open the window, but it's already locked. I drop to the floor and start crying. 'Lily' Jackson whispers. I crawl over to the door. 'Jackson?' I ask. 'Nah, it's Bob. Yes it's me!' He laughs. 'I'm coming in' He says. 'You can't!' I gasp. 'Just stay there and we'll talk like this' I sigh. 'As I was saying, I'm glad you came back. Means I've got someone to talk to' He smiles. 'When will he let you out?' He asks. 'I don't know' I tell him. 'Listen, you'll be fine. I'll be here to talk to' He says. Suddenly, the lock clicks. I crawl back and the door is pushed open. Jackson comes in and hugs me. 'Was it always like this?' He asks. 'No. He wasn't always this bad. It was after mom left us that he got more agressive' I tell him. I push my sleeves up and show him the marks. He gasps. 'It's gonna be okay now I'm here' He says. 'I'll get mom and dad to transfer me here and we'll move' he says. 'No. You can't leave all your friends' I tell him. 'No. I'm going to get them to have us move. I want this to happen, my angel' he says. I smile. 'if you're sure' I say. He nods. We hear footsteps. 'Go!' I whisper-shout. He runs out. I shut the door and lock it. A few minutes later, the door is unlocked. I step back as dad opens it. 'You're allowed to come out and I'm not locking you in again' he tells me. 'Thank you' I nod. I walk over to Jackson as dad goes back downstairs. 'You're welcome' He shrugs. 'I told him I would tell my parents that he was abusing you and that he has been for ages if he didn't let you out and if he carries on locking you in your room' Jackson explains. 'My god, you're brilliant' I laugh. We run downstairs. As we walk in, dad scowls at me. I stop laughing at once. Suddenly, I realise he's wearing trousers and a shirt instead of his usual vest and shorts. He's even wearing trainers! I grab Jackson's hand. 'Now, Jackson. You've been here for a month. Your parents are back from Italy tomorrow' he tells him. Jackson nods. 'I plan on spending the rest of the day with your daughter, sir' He states. I smile. 'Let me just grab my coat from upstairs' I say. I run upstairs. I grab my purple jacket. I run downstairs. 'He's in the garden' dad says. I run outside and hear Jackson on the phone. 'mom, I want to move here. Please! I've met this amazing girl' I hear him say. I cough. 'I gotta go. I'll see you tomorrow' He says then hangs up. 'Hey there, angel' He smiles. 'You ready?' I ask. He nods.

I've gone back. Not to Tom's or Cait's. But home home. With my dad. Don't bother coming for me. None of you. You'll see me at school

I run to Caitlin's. She opens the door, sees me and goes to shut it but I stop it with my foot. 'Lily's gone home' I say. I pass her the note. 'we need to get to Tom. Now!' She shouts. When we get to Tom's the door is open. We run in. 'Tom! She's gone home!' Caitlin shouts. She shoves the note in his face and we run
