Falling for You

Heather's POV

I strip off the dress that I had on a couple of hours ago and change into my pajamas. I lie down on my bed and snuggle into my duvet as I think about my past hours.

I just graduated. I just had a big graduation ceremony which was a few hours ago.

Before my thoughts traveled afar, a knock was heard from my door.

"Come in." I say.

A figure opens the door and my mom appears, walking towards my bed.

"Hi mom." I lazily say.

"Hey darling. Can I ask you a question?" She says. I mumbled a yeah.

"How would you like to come with me to Britain when I go home?" She asked.

Since I was tired, I quickly responded "I'll think about it when I wake up."

I see her nod through my falling eyelids and she closes the door.

I wake up to the sound of my phone buzzing, I grab it off my bed side table, eyes closed. It appears to be my best friends, Logan and Katherine, in a group chat. I was reading the messages from the top and they were both talking about our graduation and what they want to do after it.

"Thanks guys for waking me up. Oh, and I might go to my moms house this week." I quickly type.

I walk to the bathroom and quickly did my business while my phone starts buzzing consistently.

I grabbed my phone and jogged downstairs to see my mother and father arguing about me going with my mom.

I screamed "Stop!", making the attention on me.

"Honey, we were just talk-" my dad says as I cut him off.

"No dad, I am leaving with my mom when she leaves whether you like it or not."

"But-" I cut him off again.

"Now can we at least have a pleasant breakfast for once." I add. They nod and start to make breakfast.

I finally checked my messages and it read:

Fr: Logan

WHAT?

WHY?

YOU'RE LEAVING ME?

BUT I THOUGHT YOU LOVED ME. :(

Fr: Katherine

No Logan, she loves me more!

But I hope you have fun Heather. I have to take care of this idiot.

I smile at their texts and reply

To: Logan, Katherine

I'm sorry Logan, I love Katherine more. I never really loved you. Oops.

But I won't be gone for long.

Fr: Logan

I thought what we had was special *crying*

Fr: Katherine

I told you Logan she loves me!

To: Katherine, Logan

You guys are stupid. lol. But meet me at the coffee shop by my house.

I send my text and quickly eat my food.

I quickly ran upstairs to get dressed. I put on a casual grey v-neck shirt and a black leather skater skirt, shirt tucked in. I put on my matching Toms and head down.
