The rain finally stopped at midnight.. 

I drive all the way to her.. 

Taking new roads..

It took me 25 minutes more to reach at her place.. 

As i took a long rout to drive due to that traffic jam.. 

I run all the way to 7th floor panting really hard as the lift wasn't working.. 

I got scared when the lights suddenly went off.. 

Its not that i am scared of it.. 

But i know how terrified she gets in the dark.. 

A part of me was telling me to slow down as its already past midnight and she must be sleeping..

But the other part knew she can't sleep in the dark.. 

She can't sleep with the loud sound of thunderstrom.. 

She can't sleep alone.. 

and She must be scared and crying by now.. 

I stand out side her door as i didn't wanted to disturb her beauty sleep..

I decided to peek through the glass window framed on the door.. 

The room was dark.. 

only a candle burning inside near the window..

The window was opened.. 

Making the candle struggle to be lit on.. 

But the bed was empty.. 

............................................................................ Its the first time i got scared due to rain, darkness cold air, sound of thunderstorm, the feeling of being ALONE..
