Chapter 10 • PROM PT. 2

Tanya

The limo driver closed his door and soon drove off. He told us that we're good to get some drinks and food and slid the window behind his head closed so we could have our privacy.

I have to say, he is a nice looking guy. He has dark chocolate skin with a low cut. His eyes were hazel brown. His body was nice and fit and it suited him very well. He looked to be in his mid 20's.

"So, Tanya. I'm truly sorry for not introducing myself earlier, I was so deeply into this young hot mama here." He looked over to my best friend and she looked at him with her mouth agape

"No problem it's fine." I smiled.

"My cousin here tells me all about you. He says he's deeply in love with-"

"Ok Matt I didn't tell you to tell her that part, damn man!" Adrien slapped his knee. I laughed at him because it was sorta dramatic and sarcastic at the same time.

"Oh shut up bro you just mad cause I'm the older cousin." He says and Topanga and I laugh at Matt. No lies at the moment, but this guy really is very humorous just like Topanga. I can see these two being a power couple, VERY soon.

"Dude you're one month older-"

"Which makes me older-" Topanga stopped the back and forth and everyone looked at her.

"So did you guys forget that its prom night? We're arguing about who's older than the other and to be honest who gives a shit? Now we have about 35 more minutes until we get to the school so let's have a pre-party until then."

"Welcome to prom, seniors!" Principal Abel announced through the microphone. Everyone applauded, then the voices died down.

"I'm glad you all could attend to this beautiful event tonight. You all look lavish and posh. Our DJ will be playing more music. In about 30 minutes, we will announce prom king and queen! I know, very exciting! Now please get back to what you were doing and enjoy your night!" We applauded once again and the music continued.

I had a nice hold with Adrien's hand. I didn't wanna let go.

"Tanya, your hand is sweaty." He sat down. He pulled me down to sit in his lap.

"I know that." I said smartly.

"Baby, what's you're problem? We just got here." He chuckled.

"Yeah, obviously dude. You shouldn't care if my hand is sweating or not." I looked him directly in the face. His vanilla skin tone was making want to be nice.. but NOPE.

"Well I don't want your bodily fluids touching me." He said grabbing my waist.

"You're such a coward, Adrien." I snapped. I pushed his hands away from me and got up from his lap. I was about to speed off, until he grabbed my arm.

"Tanya what the hell is up with you?" He yelled.

"Nothing, now please go." I turned around. He grabbed my arm and took me with him.

We walked out of the gym and stopped in the hallway. I crossed my arms in front of my chest and pouted.

"The one and only, Tanya damn Baker better have an explanation why she is showing out!" He yelled at me. I rolled my eyes and looked the other way.
