I ran to the cover of the bus stop, and let go of the neck of my coat. I loved Oregon, but the random, heavy rains occasionally made me wonder why I lived here. I mean, I couldn't even finish a ten minute walk to the right bus station without it pouring. But that did result in some breathtaking scenery. All in all, it was worth it. My bus arrived, late, as usual, and I got my normal seat. It seemed like everything in my life was a little bit too much of a routine. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays were spent at college, then go to work. Tuesday's and Thursdays I worked all day and then worked on homework when I got to my apartment. I liked it though, routines had always made me feel at home and comfortable. And it wasn't like getting out of college would hurt my routine-loving life. Teachers had relatively set schedules. And as much as I got a hard time about already having my entire life planned out, I was happy, and really, that's all that matters. I glanced at my phone and realized that my bus had been more late than usual, and I was going to be late for class if I didn't just get off and run. I internally groaned, since it was still raining but hopped off at the next stop and raced to my first class, arriving just on time and not too soaked.

5 classes later, it was still raining. Which was strange considering that this morning it hadn't even been too cloudy. I shrugged it off and speed-walked to the nearest bus stop, wringing out my hair once I was under the cover. There was nobody else there, most people were probably staying n to avoid the rain. Normally I would've appreciated this, nobody to bother me. This time, however, it might've been nice to have someone around, because I'd been waiting for just a few minutes when someone slipped a cloth over my face, and I immediately got drowsy. I went to attack my attacker, but whoever it was happened to be much stronger than me, and not drugged. The last thing I really felt was being lifted into the air before I blacked out completely.

My eyes drifted open, revealing that I was in a motel room, all by myself. Maybe the kidnapper was outside. I went for the lamp, but i t was bolted to the table. Had someone stolen a lamp? What kind of person steals a lamp? I went into the bathroom, and grabbed the hair-dryer, then walked over to and very slowly cracked open the door. Sure enough, there was a guy out there. He was at least 6'1" and looked muscular. Damn it. Now I stood even less of a chance. He seemed distracted though, angrily talking to someone on the phone...about pie? I was kidnapped by some weird people. I waited for him to turn totally away fro the door and then jumped out, wildly swinging the hair-dryer at his head.

I ended up successfully hitting him twice, but he barely winced, instead turning around and laughing. I guess I might've been a funny sight, what with my height and the wild hair-dryer swinging. But I'm pretty sure it's rude to laugh at people who are trying to injure you. He hung up the phone and just pushed me back into the hotel room. He didn't hurt me or anything, just dragged the chair over to the door and sat down, resting his head on the back of said chair. If I had just met him in a bar or in class or something, I probably would've flirted with him. But I was terrified for my life, and I doubted flirting was a very logical reaction. He asked,

"Don't you know it's rude to hit people with hair-dryers?" I was going to try and be nice, but I ended up automatically retorting,

"Don't you know it's fucking rude to kidnap and kill people?"

"I haven't killed you. I'm actually saving you."

"Sorry, how does that make sense to you? Are you some mental hospital runaway?"

"Technically, I think I actually am, but the hospital had a wraith and the only reason we were om there was to kill her, so I had a reason to leave. I'm not insane. I'm a hunter. me and my brother Sammy. We're protecting you. I mean, I doubt you believe me, but we only need to keep you here for 24 hours, then you can go back. Name's Dean. you're Kristen, right?"

I decide to just go with it. I mean, it's just 24 hours. right? And this guy is obviously fit, so there's no real chance of escaping, plus he has a brother.

"Yeah. I'm Kristen, and I'm hungry."

"Sam's out getting food, what do you want?"

"Rotisserie chicken. What I was going to have tonight, until I got kidnapped." That was  lie. I was going to have Ramen. But I had wanted chicken, and I liked being difficult. Dean called Sammy and told him to pick up my food, also saying that I was acting really cool about everything and he was a bit worried. I wasn't paying much attention, instead just mentally hoping and praying that someone would save me.

As if on cue, there was a rustling sound and some random guy appeared in the middle of the room. I was beginning to wonder just how much they drugged me, but then Dean went and asked the new guy,

"Hey, what're you doing here?"

"I was just checking up on the whole Luci- Did you kidnap her?" Dean went to answer, but I butted in,

"They sure did. They also bought me chicken, so at least they're nice kidnappers. Plus, they say I'm leaving in 24 hours. Who are you and how did you just appear out of nowhere?"

"I'm Castiel. Angel of the Lord."

"Too much is happening right now. Are you telling me that Atheists are actually the ones who are wrong?"

"Yes. "

"Are the demons and monsters and stuff he mentioned real too?"

"Yes."

"And Lucifer is really rising?"

"How do you know about that?"

"Um. I don't. I meant to say that I was like, in awe, but instead I asked about Lucifer. Wait, you didn't deny it. Lucifer is literally rising?"

"He's actually already out, he's just searching or a vessel."

"The temporary, weak one, right?" He doesn't answer and I realize I'd done it again, randomly said something I didn't even know.

"I didn't mean to say that. What's happening?" Castiel looks at me blankly, then his eyes widen and he mutters,

"I think I might know," before disappearing. I looked over to Dean, and he looked just as confused as I felt. Only seconds later, Sam walked in with the food. Sam was even taller and more muscular than Dean. I didn't say anything, just took my chicken and tried to process everything I'd learned.

A/N

I put together a schedule thing. I should be updating one chapter a week, every Wednesday. I'm probably gonna end up actually posting things on Thursday every so often, so I apologize in advance. Anyways, I hoped you guys liked the new version of this chapter! I also hope there are still people actually reading this story. Bye!
