My Fault.

The rain hits the ground hard outside. The storm winds blow against the old tree outside my window.

 CRACK CRACK BOOM.

The sky roars with thunder.

Click.

The power is off. I reach into the drawer next to my bed to get the flashlight. My parents and brother went to get dinner not too long ago. If I had known that the storm was going to be this bad I wouldn't have told them to go. I wander around the house trying to find candles. After I had finished lighting the candles and placing them in random places I went back into my room.

*2 HOURS LATER* I knew it would take them a while because of the storm but not this long. I look out the window at the dark sky. Rain dangerously falls from the angry sky. I am starting to get worried. I looked at my cell phone. I had texted my brother, Hyung Seok, an hour ago but it says that he hasn't even read it. I decide to call my mom. No answer. I feel anxious. To distract myself I go and lay on my bed. They will show up soon, right?

*Next Day.* I wake up to the sun shining in my face and myself holding my phone. I stretch and come to my senses. I run into the living room hoping to see my mom and dad in the kitchen. My dad up making breakfast and my mom sitting talking about how Hyung Seok should be up by now. I walk into the living room. I didn't hear anything. Not even the smell of coffee. I peek into the kitchen just in case they are actually there. Nope. Maybe they are sleeping in that was a big storm last night they could be very tired. I walked into the hallway and to my parent's room and slightly opened the door. No one was there. This point anxiety hits me. I opened my brother's door next. NO ONE. I get on my phone to call them. Maybe they are at a motel because the storm got too bad? Wouldn't they have called though? I walk into the living room and flick on the tv. The silence was making me feel worse. Suddenly... "Last nights storm was the worst Seoul, Korea has experienced in the last 15 years. There have been 7 deaths on Highway 11 going North. The lives that were taken by the storm names have been released..." I stopped and paid my attention. Isn't that the highway to the restaurant that they were picking the food up at? I dropped the remote that was in my hand. They had called my parents and brothers names. The first three names that were called. I fell to the floor in disbelief.

*One month later* I sit on the palate made on the floor. Silence fills the small shack-like house. My uncle is at the market selling vegetables, He makes an okay wage for a person selling vegetables. I check the time. The mail should have ran by this time. My "job" at my uncle's house was to keep the clean the entire house check the mail have food on the table make sure that Sunny had been fed. Sunny is my uncle's pet cat. He named her after Sunny's SNSD because he is in love with her. If I complete all these tasks then he would give me a place to live. Of course if I wanted extra things I would have to get a job but still, keep up the tasks I have at home. I do have a part-time job at night. I have to go and clean the inside skate park that is only 2 blocks away from us. It is a small pay but it helps me get by. I open the mailbox and bring the mail inside. I look through the pile of mail. Then I see it. My brother's name was posted on the envelope. My heart hurts thinking of my family. I didn't like thinking of them it hurt me too much. I open the envelope.

"Congratulations on your acceptance to KPOP IDOL training academy! We are pleased to inform you, Park Hyung Seok, will be joining us these years with free tuition."
I read the first two sentences and a tear escaped from my eye. He wanted to become an idol, He applied for this academy and even made it? He was following his dream. And now he wasn't here to make them come true. I started to cry even more and fell onto the floor. Why did this have to happen to them?! Why couldn't it be me?! If I was with them I could have at least died with them! If I didn't tell them that I wanted that particular restaurant then they would have gotten in that big wreck! It was all my fault. That night before they went out it was only raining a little.

*Flashback*
What do you want for dinner?" My mom says as she peeked into my room. I laid down the book I was reading. "What about appa and Hyung Seok? I asked while getting up with excitement and tugging on her arm. For the past couple of days, our stove and oven have been broken and we had been getting take out. My dad and brother have picked for the last few days. They always want fried chicken or pizza! And I was tired of it.My mom laughed and thumped my head at my stupidity. "Pabo!" She said as she started walking out of my room. "Wae?! I thought you said I can pick!" I said laughing while rubbing my forehead. We went into the living room and I told my mom what I wanted. "Are you coming with us?" my dad asked as he took the keys of the key hanger. "No.. I'm fine I want to read more of my book," I said as I smiled and waved bye. "GEEK!" My brother yelled as he put me in a headlock. "YA!!' I yelled trying to get his arm off of me. "Enough horse playing! Come one if you are coming.. We need to go before the storm hits worst." My brother and family left the house with a smile.

*Present*
That was the last time I saw them. The least I can do for my brother is follow his dream for him. The only problem is... It was already under his name and gender and.. it was an all boys academy.
