Chapter3 Jake and Sarah

Chapter 3   

song: made to love

"Aaahhhhhhhhh" I woke screaming, looking around all I could see was Lin sitting  by a fire. "Lin are you OK?" I yelled reaching for her sharp pain erupting from my left shoulder, causing me to yelp.

"Mike you need to lie still, you where shot." She soothed as she crawled toward me. Pushing me back down, "If you move to much you'll start bleeding again." I knew I needed to listen to her after all I'm the one that made her take those first-aid classes a few years ago, all tho I don't remember if they covered gun shot wounds or not. "It looks like it went straight through, but I can't be sure we'll have to get Jake to look at it when he and Sarah meet up with us." "It shouldn't take them to long after that fire yesterday."

"Wait what; hold on who's Jake and Sarah, and what do you mean yesterday?

"Easy mike she said i didn't make to many air holes in this place, you need to calm down are you'll pass out." "I'll tell you every thing, OK, I'm sure you remember the seer and all his creepiness?"

A small shiver ran down my back. "Ya I remember him." I shuttered. Lin moved around to the side of me placed both of her hands on the ground and pushed. A small hole about a foot deep and a foot wide appeared under her hands. Placing one hand in side the hole she pulled at some invisible force and then I felt it. The millions of gallons of fresh water right below us, it was as if the ocean had moved under ground. 

For the next three hours Lin told me about how she had meet the seer in much the same way as I had and told me how the 5 Prophets had saved her life as well and led her to put on the gauntlets, that it was in fact her that had vaporized the stadium press box plus the fact that if not for the other two will users many more would have died including her self. Last but not lest she told me how she had went toe to toe with Leah about a mile away form the football field, a three on three battle where she,  Jake, and Sarah had fought the three skill users from yesterday. I looked at her for a long time and I reached out with my good arm and gave her a long hug and told her the same thing I had told her the day I woke up from my comma.

"Lin no matter what I will always protect you and i'm so sorry I let my fear hurt you and I promise it will never happen again." and with that she fell on me and kissed me as if everything was right in the world. I pulled her close and kissed her back and the only thing I could fathom inside my thick head was; yep i'm going to HELL.  The kiss lasted for a few minutes, we  would have stayed that way all night when some where in the dark I heard the sinker of a little girl and it caused me to stop. Pulling away from Lin I seen the frown on her face. 

"God damn it Sarah bad timing as always, I finally got him to kiss me after so long."

"Heheheheh" came the sweet giggle from no where, looking back at Lin I kissed her on the cheek winked at her and slowly pulled myself up on to my feet. 

"How long have you been standing there?" Sighed Lin.

"Long enuf to hear his lovely speech." 

"Oh shut-up Sarah, and wheres Jake at?" Asked Lin. As she came to stand behind me to help support my wait.

"I'm right here Lin."  With that two figures walked into the light. the one on the right was a little girl more then likely Sarah, she wore a red sundress with black lace and black stockings with shiny red Mary Jane's, her blond hair was done in pigtails with red ribbons, and right there on her for arms where the gauntlets of will. On the left was a tall man looked about mid 20s he wore a red T'shirt white over coat black jeans red belt black boots, scruffy brown hair with the same will gauntlets on his arms and a big back pack on his shoulder, walking over to me he raised his hand offering to shake mine. "High my name is Jake."
