Awkward moments...

A/N: Please read my other book! It's got like 4 reads last time I checked. Give it a quick read, it's only a chapter long so far, and if you don't like it then just... Don't read it I guess. If you do like it then be patient and wait for the next chapter to come out soon.

"Naaaw! I knew you two would go out soon! I told you Aliysha!", Zoey squealed.

"We don't go out!", me and Codi both said in unison.

"Whats with the hugging then?", she asked, folding her arms.

"I-I-I was.. was just..", I stuttered trying to think of some believable excuse.

"I was comforting her. She got sick... then she got worried because you didn't come when you said you would", he told Zoey. It was the truth. But he left out little bits that even I didn't know.

"Riiiiight...", Zoey rolled her eyes, unconvinced.

I stood up and walked towards her. "Why were you so late anyway?", I asked curiously. She needed some explaining to do.

"Well..", she began, "There were just so many shops! Trust me, if you were there you would have taken as long as I did too!"

I narrowed my eyes. It seemed as unconvincing as Codi's excuse, but I let it slip.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry to leave so soon again but I've got to be somewhere right now.", Codi said while getting up and slowly headed towards the door.

He turned around and said "Good luck for tomorrow. I hope you feel better Aliysha", he winked and left.

I just realized that I didn't feel so sick anymore. Must've been the medicine.

"Tell me what actually happened", Zoey said, turning around to face me.

I took a deep breath and opened my mouth. "It all started when we came back here. We were watching a movie", I held up the case to show her.

"Ooh. Valentines Day. I think I know where this is going."

"Well, yeah. He got comfortable and put his arm around me the whole time.", I pulled a disgusted face. I only liked Codi as a friend... Right?

"Then I started complaining about how worried I was when you hadn't come back and he tried to comfort me by smothering me into a big bear hug. And that's exactly when you walked in..."

She thought about that for a while. "Do you like him? As in... Like-like him?", Zoey asked seriously.

I breathed in. Memories of me and Codi's adventures filled my mind. The memories were over in about 10 seconds, I only just met him a day ago.

"No.", I answered truthfully.

I tried to change the subject by saying "I'll go get some dinner!", but it didn't work seeing as it was only 3 pm. 

"Okay.. Whatever. Just put everything behind you! Cheer up! We are meeting One Direction tomorrow for crying out loud!", Zoey screamed.
