I wake up the next morning for the second day of school. A Friday which I am glad for. Only thing is on Friday for people leading up to their aptitude test, instead of attending school you go with the upperclassmen to visit factions. It is suppose to put yourself in their shoes so you know what you are getting yourself into when you chose the faction at your choosing ceremony. Upperclassmen use Fridays to build their strength in their faction. Since my aptitude test is only a few months away, I will be visiting a faction of my choice today. I still need to go to school but from there I will catch a train to the faction head quarters. I quickly get ready then head to school. On the train, I notice Four is missing. Must mean he is older. I talk to Will and Christina about what faction they are visiting. They both say Dauntless. I decide I would like to go too.

We arrive at school and form lines of where we want to visit. Once in the Dauntless line, Christina, Will and I are all suited up in black tight-fitting clothes that show way more of my cleavage than I was expecting. The ride there isn't very long but I am so nervous. Once we arrive I notice the huge headquarters with a large fence surrounding it. We are forced to run through the gate and hop a wall to enter. Just from that we are all sweating and the supervisors are silently laughing, shaking there heads. We enter into a room with matts, punching bags, target ranges, ect. My stomach drops but I push away my nervousness and focus on who enters through the door after us. Four. My eyes widen with confusion but I quickly return them to normal. What? What is he doing here??

"Hello everyone one. My name is Four. You may recognize me from your school. I am a senior but because when entering Dauntless I was 1st in my class I get to teach the newbies. Any questions." His voice is deep and harsh. His facial expression much like the one I saw in class. Rock hard. He continued explaining what was to be done that day. Cardio and fighting skills. We started with a run. It was exhausting. By the end I was panting and multiple kids had already thrown up. I was determined NOT to be one of those kids. One kid who seemed pretty tough was Peter. He made constant jabs at people. Man, was he annoying.

Next part, fighting skills for a while, lunch, then more fighting skills. Four taught us the correct technique of how to stand and place ourselves and some basic punches and kicks. By lunch I was ready to collapse. Christina Will and I found a table. Unfortunately Peter was at is. I glanced around the table at the food. The Abnegation food was certainly NOT like this. Peter looks at me and noticed the unknowing expression on my face. "What's wrong Stiff? Never seen real food before?" He jabs. I start to retaliate but stop when none other than Four sits down next to me. Peter immediately stops laughing too. Four doesn't say a word. Just sits there and digs into the food. I turn my back and socialize with friends but before I know it, it's time to head back. Once we get back we start on punching bags. I feel so heavy. I'm hitting as hard as I can but it seems like nothing is happening. I sit down on the floor and lean against the bag. I hear a voice call to me "hey you! Get up! This isn't nap time!" I turn to see that this person is a person I don't recognize. He is really scary looking.

He grabs me by the arm and yanks me up. "Ow!"I exaggerate.

"Awe, what did I hurt you?" The guy mocks back.

"Yeah kinda" I say back. He glares at me.

I then hear Fours voice coming up behind me "hey, what's going on here? Eric she's just a kid. Get you hands off." Me? Just a 'kid'? Wow, ok. I yank my arm out of his grasp and look around to see all the other sweaty kids looking at me. Four obviously notices too as he announces "ok you all can go home" all the kids shout with happiness and run out of the training center. I move to leave also but I hear Four say," Tris hold up a second." I turn back to him annoyed. "You ok?" He asks. Is he actually concerned? I can't tell...

"I'm fantastic!" I replied sarcastically and move to leave again but he blocks my path.

He looks down at me straight in the eyes and says "you know I'm not like Eric right?" My heart flutters as he looks at me like this but he sure does seem a lot like Eric...

"Whatever." I reply and successfully move around him this time and walk out the door, leaving him standing there, shutting it with a loud bang.
