distant sound of bells chimed in the darkness as small flames lit the large room .

Standing in the middle of the large room stood four large golden statues , statues of the four beast gods. All standing in their positions north, south, east and west .

In the middle was a red drawn circle with ancient writing. Laying in the circle laid a girl with long white blonde hair. Her strange clothes still a little damp as she clenched her hands. Her eyebrows scrunched as she frowned in discomfort tossing her head side to side .

"Kei-kun, help me ." She muttered out in pain letting out a gasp .

"Are you sure of this elder ?" A women with long curly hair tied into a high ponytail stood with a frown . Her blue eyes glued on the girl laying there in pain .

"The beast gods chose her for  a reason , it's now up to her." An old women with very long silver hair said with a frown before stepping forward in front of the circle .

"Let it begin ." The only women said moving her hand forward as a red Chinese character appeared on her forehead. Gasping out the girl's eyes shot open as a sudden pain developed in her head . Her memories flashing through her eyes before vanishing.

"No, stop it !" She yelled out weakly feeling all her strength leave her . Tears filling her eyes as her memories flashed before her mind . Just before the last one disappeared the image of a boy's smiling face appeared in front of her. Her eyes dulling as the boy's face began to leave her mind .

"Kei-kun ..."

Soah

"Come here little one , it's okay I won't hurt you ." I said with a smile feeling nervous as I kept my eyes on the small trembling kitten rather than the tall height from the ground .

"Big sister , be careful ." A small girl and boy yelled out worried as they stood bellow the tree with worried expressions .

"Its okay ." I said happily feeling a bit nervous as I inched closer to the small beast . Hissing at me it moved away before letting out a yell as it lost its footing .

My eyes widen before I moved forward losing my footing myself. Bringing the small creature close to my chest I closed my eyes awaiting that painful fall to come . Instead I was met only by a pair of strong arms as I was pulled close into a warm hard chest . Confused I opened my eyes gazing up at the person who had saved me .

"Renshu-"

"What in the world were you thinking ?!" He yelled out angrily in front of my ear . Wincing I brought my hand to cover my poor abused ear .

"I'm sorry,Renshu but this kitten needed my help ." I told him innocently as I showed the small grey kitten in my arms.

Narrowing his eyes at the beast he only sighed before letting me down on my feet .

"Big sister are you okay ?" The small girl asked shyly as she stood behind her brother . Turning to them I smiled brightly walking up to them .

"I'm fine, but I'm sure this little guy missed you all." I told her bringing out the small kitten . At the sight of its owner it meowed happily moving in my arms.

"Nala!" The small girl yelled out happily taking the small kitten in her small arms . The kitten meowed happily as it licked her cheek making her giggle .
