Thin trails of smoke snaked it's way up the around the dim-lit room. A large fire burned brightly, its flames dancing elegantly as it reflected beautifully on the large gold statue of the Firebird. Kneeling in front of the statue a girl with long wavy hair pale blonde hair prayed silently with her eyes closed trying to silence the world around her.
Her chest suddenly feeling warm as her marking of Suzaku glowed a gold-red ember color. Her aura changed as her body gave off a golden glow. Bitting down on her lips she clenched her eyes as a burning sensation followed in her eyes before letting out a gasp as she felt her being dropped through the ground into an endless emptiness.
Opening her eyes, her eyes widen at the starry sky that surrounded her. Every star shining like a precious gem. Hearing a bird cry she pulled up her arms up in front of her face a large gust of wind hit against her face. Her long strands of hair dancing behind her before the gust of wind calmed itself. Removing her arm her eyes widen once again as at the sight of the large creature that stood before her. Appearing so beautiful as the first time she had laid eyes on him. Unlike the other times though his body seemed transparent shimmering beautifully like the stars before them. His eyes glowing as they stared at her own.

"Suzaku..." She spoke out in a bewildered tone as her eyes widen in shock. A sense of warmth came off of the beautiful beast in front of her. Giving her a sense of peacefulness. A vision appeared in her mind as his bright eyes stared down at her silently communicating his words to her.
At that moment he released a strong bright light his form growing smaller until he reached the size of a tall male figure. His complete form concealed by the bright light. Stretching out her hand towards him, his own glowing hand stretched out. Their palms only an inch away from each other, Soah could feel his warmth even without touching on her hand. Her own body is covered in that protective warmth. As their fingertips touched she gasped out as the image of his gentle eyes staring at her flashed in her eyes before a bright light disordered her vision. Letting out a gasp she blocked her eyes for a moment before looking up to see Suzaku change back to his bird form. Letting out a cry Suzaku stretched out his wings before flying off.
Reaching out Soah held out her hand as a glowing transparent feather that had come loose from his wings. Feeling the heat of the feather she gasped out at the burning sensation. Grasping it tightly her eyes closed shut as she felt herself on once again through down into the abyss. The burning feeling of air once again feeling her lungs threw her back into reality. Collapsing on her knees she placed the palm of her hands on the cold ground. The cold touch relieving the burning in her hand. Breathing heavily she could feel the sweat clinging to the back of her neck and chest. Making her bangs stick to her forehead. She felt weak yet at the same time, she felt as if her body had been thrown in boiling water. Shaking she struggled standing up using a nearby pillar to sustain herself. Slowly evening out her breathing, she lifted her left hand that had grasped on to the feather. Her eyes widening as the red imprint of the long feather could be seen at the back of her hand. The tail of the feather curving around her thin wrist before going up to the left side of her hand, the tip of the feather curving around her ring finger.
