CHAPTER 4

"Bryant?" Eljin gasped, staring at Bryant in shock. "Thanks for helping me. Who are they? What are they? Why are we here?" She paused. "I thought you were dead?"

Bryant looked at me. "They are zombies and I'm not helping you... I just want to eat you all by myself!"

"What are you talking about? Your not a zombie..." Eljin slowly walked backwards. "... zombies are supposed to be are pale! You're... not."

"I am a zombie. Actually, I am the master of all zombies. I can order them whatever I wish." He chuckled. "And now... my lunch awaits..." He grabbed Eljin but a pile of gliterry dust smashed on his face.

"Aaaaaahhh! My eyes!!!!" Bryant screeched.

Another pile of dust were thrown to the zombies which made them all go blind.

Eljin looked around to see where the dust came from but there's no sign.

"Show yourself!" Eljin yelled.

Nothing.

"I won't hurt you." She added.

"You'd better run now, Danford. The magic will wear off after a few minutes. The zombies will be back to normal any minute now." A familiar voice replied firmly.

"C-carlo? Where are you??" Eljin asked. "What's going on?"

"I have no idea, either." He replied.

"Where are you?" She asked again.

"Promise me you won't laugh?" He asked.

"Yeah. Why would I laugh?"

Then, behind a tree, a boy with a shimmery pink puffy laced dress came out. He has a sparkly wand and he's wearing a silver crown with pink rhinestones all over it.

Carlo is clearly a fairy. A pink sparkly fairy.

Eljin can't helped it but burst into laughter. It wasn't really the perfect scenario to laugh about since there are blind zombies covered with magical dust behind them.

Carlo rolled his eyes. "Fine. Laugh all you want. Can't you see I just saved your life?"

She snorted. "F-fine... *haha*... I'll *haha* s-stop laughing."

The zombies behind stood up straight again and moaned.

"Oh no! The magic wore off already!" Carlo exclaimed. "Run!"

They both ran as the zombies followed.

"You're a fairy! Can't you fly?" Eljin asked.

"I'm still working on that!" He replied, still running ahead of Eljin.

Eljin looked back and saw desperate zombies, eager to eat her flesh which made her scared but when she looked ahead of her, she saw Carlo running in a sparkly dress which made her laugh. Again.

This is just too confusing. What is wrong with the world right now?

They soon arrived at the edge of the ocean shore.

Eljin panicked again. "Oh no! We're dead... unless we swim... but I can't even swim!" She shooked Carlo. "We are so dead!"

"No! Eat this."

Carlo gave her a liquidy brown... thing.

"What is this?" Eljin gagged. "I can't eat this."

"It makes you breathe underwater."

Eljin immediately ate the disgusting looking thing as Carlo did the same.

"It's poo, by the way." Carlo replied as they ran into the ocean.

"WHATTT?"

"Poo. Unicorn poo." He smiled. "Amazing isn't it?"

She flinched.

"Now dive!" Carlo ordered.

Carlo and Eljin swam deep into the ocean silently.

"Just follow me." Carlo said. "Over here."

"You can talk?" Eljin gasped. "I can talk? We can talk underwater? This is sooo cool."

"The magic of unicorn poop!" Carlo replied dreamily.

All of the sudden, everything turned dark and chilly.

"What's happening?" Eljin whispered.

"Eljin, look out!" Carlo pushed her away from a big great white shark behind her with a gigantic mouth hanging open. Its long sharp teeth were ready to tear them to pieces.
