Running From The Pain.

Chapter four

So just for laughs, my sister was in the shower singing Hallelujah and I managed to sneaky ninja my way to the bathroom door. I thought 'Well she's singing really loud and I really like this song sooo' and I starting singing the fifth verse I think? Well instead of her getting mad, she shouts "IT'S NOT A DUET!" And I almost die laughing!   

Diana P.O.V

I lunge forwards and grab his hand, regret must be very clear in my eyes.

"Not on my watch Pyrotechnímata." I whisper and slowly drag him up. After I pull him up, he just sat with his head in his arms and knees to his chest. I sit on my knees, my hands on his arms, my head against his.

"You are my sunshine~ My only sunshine~ You make me happy~ When skies are gray~ You'll never know dear~ How much I care~ So please don't take~ My sunshine away~" I softly sing as a whisper to him. His sobs turn into hiccups, his hiccups into sniffles.

"Thank you Diana." His voice softly reaches my ears. I softly smile and my lips gently brush against his slightly rough cheek.

"No problem Pyrotechnímata." I whisper before fading back into nothingness.

Calypso P.O.V

Iris stops.

"I'm sorry, I have ran out of strength to keep it going. Also they are almost at the land beyond the gods." She politely says before flashing away. I felt my hands ball up into fists. I thought I killed that bitch.

See Diana was my best friend. She was on my island before I got there, the gods had forgotten about her over time. Anyways since she was placed there for who knows what, I got all the men because she just disappeared whenever someone new came. Until a young unimportant pilot washed up on the shore. She was the one who helped him, apparently he was fighting a war called world war II.  He was cute, I'll give him that, with neat brown hair, shining green eyes, and a ton of mussels.

But he fell in love with Diana, and she him. But I wanted him to myself! One day I caught them about to kiss, and I blew my top! I pulled out my kitchen knife and sliced his throat. Diana looked at me with fear but I didn't care. I was angry that she stole one of my boy toys! She screamed at me about how crazy I was. SHE was down right insane! 

So I butchered her. I managed to hide the pilot's body, but Diana's was chopped up into little pieces. So I placed the pieces into a chest and threw it of a cliff into the ocean. 

But I kept her beautiful gold and silver bracelet that had one ruby between two small emeralds.

"Who was that?" I pretend ask, like the fools they were they thought I didn't know.

"Diana." Was the only thing that came out of Hephaestus mouth. He was pale and shaking.

"Diana was Kronos's right hand man, or woman, because she was half snow nymph. When one day Kronos found out about her father while she was secretly meeting him in the woods. Her father is Tartarus, premortal of the pit. Kronos wanted to kill her because he was scared that she would over throw him, but Mother Rhea convinced him to place her on an island forever. We got wind that she died in WWII. Causes unknown. But she was never sent to the underworld. If she's haunting Leo, then there's no hope for him." Zeus sadly tells us.

"Why?" Nico asks.

"Because she will keep convincing him to try to commit suicide but will always stop him in the end." Zeus starts but is cut off by Hades.

"I'm surprised he lasted this long. Diana is able to make the strongest immortal go insane. She could even make Chaos himself go insane." Hades wonders out loud and that causes me to pale.

"What would happen if she makes him go insane?" I quickly ask. Hestia shakes her head sadly before answering my question.

"Then all hope in helping him is lost."
