Chapter 9

-Few dars later-

After speaking to Arogog, We found out Hagrid did not open the chamber of secrets.

We were with Harmony at the moment. Harry gave a sad smile to Ron. I could tell he like Mione. Harry then pulled something from Mione hand. It was paper. "What is that" I asked and stood beside him. He read over it. His eyes widened. "This is why Hermione was in the library the day she was attacked" Harry said. "Come on" He said. He grabbed my hand and ran.

We walked down the corridor. Spiders flee before it. "Thats it, the monster is a basilsk" I said looking over the line of the paper. "That why I can hear it speak, it's a snake" He said.

"If it kills by looking people in the eye, why isn't anyone dead" Ron asked. "You can still look at it, but not directly in the eye" I said, looked at our reflection in the window. They looked at me.

"Think about it, Mione must've seen it in the mirror that was found with her" I said as we walked further down the hall. "Colin must've saw it through his camera" Harry said. "Justin" Ron asked

"Justin must've seen the basilsk thru Nearly headless Nick, Nick got full blast of it, but he's a ghost he couldn't die again" He said. I smiled.

"What about Mrs. Norris" I asked. He looked down at me. "There was water on the floor that night, she only saw its reflection" He said. He walked over to the fire and re-read the line I thought earlier.

" Its a big snake somebody would have seen it" Ron said. "Pipes" I said, lookimg down at the word on the paper. "Its going through the plummig" Ron said almost horrified.

"Remember what Arogog said about the girl that died in the bathroom 50 years ago, what if she never left" Harry said. "Moaning Myrtle" Me and Ron said. He nodded.

Suddenly we heard Kitty's voice echo around the school. We took off running.

I heard footsteps. I peeked around the corner the boys behind me. Harry wrapped his arms around my waist amd pulled me to him. "The monster has taken a student" Kitty said. "The students must be sent home, its far too dangerous now" She said. "Im afraid this is the end of Hogwarts" She added. My eyes widened. We looked at each other in horror.

We ran to DADA classroom. "This guys is a fake, I bet he's up in his office packing right now" I said as we entered. "He said he knows where the Chamber is, he has to help" Ron said sadly. He just found out Ginny was the one that was taken. We bursted in his office and indeed there was Lockhart packing. I giggled as they scolded. "You can't leave, you said you know where the Chamber of secrets is" Harry said angrily.

-Timeskip-

We made it to the girls bathroom. Ron and Harry had dragged Lockhart with us.

I looked around the bathroom for a clue. I frowned when I didn't find anything. I went over to the sinks. I looked around and saw the snake on the side. "Look" I said. Harry came to me and traced the snake on the side.

"This is it" He said eyes widened. "Open it" Ron said. Harry wrapped his arms around my waist protectively and pulled me closer. "Open" Harry said. Him speaking a rare language sent shivers down my spine. The skin moved to reveal a hole. We looked down in the hole. "Who's going first" Lockhart said nervously. "You are" Ron said and pushed him.

I heard his screams of terror then a loud thud. "Me next" I said. "Umm no, You're not going" Harry said pulling me away from the hole. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I gave him a kiss and jumped down the hole.

"Avi!" Harry screamed and jumped in after me. It was like riding down a slide. Soon I landed in a pile of bones. I landed on my back. Suddenly someone landed on top of me. I gasped. Harry's sea green eyes looked down at me. "S-Sorry" He stuttered flushed. I blushed.
