The next morning I woke up feeling like I was floating. I sighed happily, remembering that I had Remedial Goodness class first thing this morning which meant I would get to see Carlos. I giggled to myself just thinking about him. Even is name is dreamy, but not as dreamy as the rest of him. Not as dreamy as his soft, curly hair, not as dreamy as his sparkly, chocolate brown puppy dog eyes, not as dreamy as his-

"Bella?" Lonnie broke me from my daydream and I turned to her with a smile, seeing her sit up and stretch, yawning as she'd probably only just woken up herself.

"Oh, good morning, Lonnie," I chirped as I got out of bed and tugged the curtains open, "Isn't it just the most beautiful day?"

"Sure..." She looked at me confused, "What's got you all happy?"

"I get to see Carlos today." I giggled, swaying slightly as I thought of his pretty face.

"You like Carlos?" Lonnie asked with a smirk.

"No, silly," I laughed, waving my hand at her, "I love him! I love him so much, and how can you blame me? He's gorgeous."

"I mean, I guess he is pretty cute." She shrugged.

"Hey, back off, sister, he's mine," I glared at her before my smile returned, "Anyway, I'm going to take a shower." I grabbed my towel and skipped into the bathroom. After showering, I got dressed in a white cropped tank top that tied at the back; it showed a bit of my stomach but I didn't think that would be a big deal. Just in case, I put a thin yellow cardigan in my brown, leather backpack. I also wore a velvet blue skater skirt and a pair of black flats that laced up around the ankles. Lastly, I put my hair in a half-up-half-down fishtail braid kind of style and slipped an adorable bow necklace around my neck.

"Hey, Lonnie, do you think Carlos will like this outfit?" I asked my roommate, swaying from side to side and making my skirt swish
