I quickly worked on my task, I had around ten minutes till my siblings got home, then five more before they come looking for me, most likely to torment me.

They, being my younger siblings, one by a year the other by two years. The youngest of us is my sister, Lily. She's 14, and has light brown, shoulder length hair, accompanied with harsh green eyes.

My next sibling is my brother, Liam, who has the same features as Lily, but his face is always screwed up in a sneer. Neither of them like me, and there always putting me down, telling me I was adopted, or mom had an affair, then had me.

I look nothing like my parents, who both have light brown hair, my mom having green eyes while my dad has brown.

My inky black hair, as I'm told, comes from a great relative on my moms side, whereas my hazel eyes come from somewhere down the line on my dads side.

Even my name is different from there's, Ashtyn. Everyone's name starts with an L. Lily, Liam, my moms name is Lauren, and my dads name is Luke.

My mind strays to the events that led me to my current task; tying a knot in a rope so I can end my life.

This past year my siblings have been verbally and mentally abusing me, weather it be calling me out on my every little mistake, or putting me down in front of other people. Im sick and tired of it.

But the event that leads me to now, was not just that, but what they bother did to me last night. This time, they actually hit me, leaving bruises.

Now you might be thinking,' your younger siblings are doing this? Why don't you just tell your parents, or take some authority over them. They are younger then you.'

Well, I've tried to take more authority, but trying has only brung me grief. As for my parents, there never around, simple as that. They both have jobs that keep them away from home for extended periods of time.

I glance at the clock, five minutes left before they get here. Thankfully I finished tying my life ender, now to find a place to attach it to. Some place in the small forest area behind my house will do.

I write a quick note, nothing special, it reads:

I'm NOT sorry for what I did. I'm thankful I've been homeschooled all my life, it leaves me with no ties to friends and whatnot. Who's responsible for this? My own self, for not being strong enough. I'm hanging myself in the little forest area behind the house. Hope you've learned your lesson.

I folded it and placed it on my bed, I have around a minute to get out of the house unseen.

Rushing off, I make it to the back door right as I hear the lock click. I close the door just as the front door opens. That was close.

Sending one last glance at the house behind me, I head off into the woods, jogging.

I find the perfect tree relatively fast, scaling it, I tie the end of the rope to a sturdy branch, then place the noose around my neck.

I look around, wanting to see the world one last time, I'm really high up, and prior to my previous thought, I can see my house, and Liam... he looks frantic, and is running towards the forest.

He must have found my note, I think, while positioning myself to fall from the tree so the noose doesn't slip off, well he's to late.

I let one last smile grace my face, a smile I haven't smiled in a long time, and let myself fall off the tree.

I can feel the rope digging into my throat, crushing it. As darkness takes over me I hear the broken scream of Liam, I think I hear him telling me to 'hold on,' 'not to do this,' and 'I'm sorry' but by then, my body is lax and my eyes close, never to be opened again. Death is the only one who can help me now.
