Six months later.

"This year, we had two brilliant students who's grades were identical down to the fifth decimal point," the principal stated, "and thus, we have appointed two valedictorians, both of which will give a speech. Up first is a gentleman with incredible natural talent paired with ambition and strong will. Ladies and Gentlemen, Alexander Hamilton." everyone clapped and his friends cheered, but nobody was really surprised.

Alex walked up, accepting his diploma and walking over to the podium. "I had a speech prepared, but when I asked Mister Washington to read it over, he explained that fifty-one pages was a bit excessive, so I've cut it down into the most important parts." Alex pulled out a large booklet that rivalled a textbook in size, slapping it down on the podium. He opened to the first page. "This year was kinda crap, but hey, it could've gone a lot worse. I'll see y'all in college or whatever." He walked off the stage. His friends were laughing hysterically, and everyone else was just kind of confused...

"Thank you, Mister Hamilton..." said the principal, "our other valedictorian actually took everyone by surprise. He'd always been wildly intelligent, however, this year, he pushed himself even farther and rose to be the very top of his class. Ladies and Gentlemen, your co-valedictorian, Mister James Madison," there was applause and more loud cheering.

James got up to the podium, taking a shaky breath. "This year was by no means easy," he began, scanning the crowd for familiar faces to latch onto. He'd always hated public speaking. His eyes landed on one tall person with an overconfident smile and absolutely fabulous hair to say the least. Thomas waved. "We had our ups and downs, but we all pushed through. We all tried to be the best versions of ourselves this year. I'd like to thank my friends for helping me out when I was at some really low points in my life, and my family for always being there for me... I wish you all the best from here on out." He got down from the podium, sitting down next to Hercules.

Thomas made his way over. "You did great out there," he whispered.

James smiled. Now or never he thought, pulling Thomas into a kiss. Thomas kissed him back with a smile, holding him close. He didn't push him away this time.

After the ceremony, the whole group went back to Alex's house. He'd decided to throw a big party. Lafayette was standing with Hercules, leaning into his chest and smiling happily. Suddenly, some jerk went over to them, yelling "go home fags!"

Hercules looked at Lafayette with a shrug. Fuck it he thought, kissing Lafayette. Laf flipped the guy off, and he made fake puking noises as he walked away.

"Je t'aime," Lafayette said.

"Love you too," Herc replied, kissing Lafayette one more time.

Hurray for short terrible prologues I'm sorry for this. Anyway, yeah, that's the end... I hope you like it... I plan on writing another fic later on. It'll be a Lams fic, so that should be up in a few days... I've also been doing a drawing so I'll put that up in another chapter. Thank you to everyone who read this dumpster fire of a story, you guys are too nice...
