Chapter 4

(Your POV)

I found a guy in a red hoodie and he was unconscious.

......Luke. Jon said.

I looked at Jon transforming back into my human form. I gently pulled Luke out of the hole. He was bleeding from his head and had cut on other parts of his body. An few ambulances came and we signaled one of them over to us. The E.M.T.s put him in the ambulance and Jon got in it. Minx decided that she wanted to go home but I wanted to help Jon and Luke. I followed the ambulance to the hospital and waited with Jon in the waiting room. I want so badly to look into Jon's mind to see his past with this guy but I didn't want him to know my secret power.

So Jon how do you know this guy? I asked.

You mean Luke? I've known him since birth he's my best friend. We've been thought a lot of pain together but this is crazy what happened? Jon said.

I don't know but luckily the police will investigate this and we'll find our answers. I said.

Thanks for staying with me. Jon said.

Jon started to fill out some paperwork that was needed. When he was done we sat together waiting for the doctors to come to us. About an hour passed and nothing so far and Jon was becoming worried.

Hey why are you getting worked up? I asked.

I'm scared he's not going to make it. Jon said.

Hey look at me I bet he's fine and if he's not you can fix him because your his best friend. I said.

T-thanks. Jon said.

Mr. Dennis and Miss (L/N) can you come with me please? A male doctor said.

We both got up and followed him to what seems to be his office.

Alright since Mr. Patterson's parents haven't come to be here I decided that one or both of you can stay overnight with him. The doctor said.

Umm will since tomorrow is Saturday I can stay the night. I said.

And I can also I have nothing tomorrow morning. Jon said.

Well that's good now let's get onto Mr. Patterson's health. The doctor said.

The room was silent for a few seconds.

Alright so he is in good health but right now he is unconscious. We are still trying to find information about the explosion. Mr. Patterson should awake up during the middle of the night. The doctor said.

Thank you for giving us the information doctor? Jon said.

My name is Doctor Powers. The doctor said.

Thank you Doctor Powers now can we see Luke. Jon said.

Yes of course. Doc Powers said.

We got up and walked to the elevators and we entered. We were taken to the 13th floor and walked to room #1328.

This is his room you may go in. Doc Powers said.

I opened the room door and we both saw a the end of the bed. We walked in and I closed the door behind us. Jon walked over to his bed and sat down in the closet chair to Luke. I texted my parents to tell them I was staying with a friend for the night. I sat down next to Jon and started to look at Luke's unconscious body.

Hey (Y/N) you know you don't have to stay you know. Jon said.

But I want to help support him even though I don't know him he's seems like a good person. Plus I don't want to see you all alone with no one to lean on. I said.

Heh thanks (Y/N). Jon said.

About a few hours passed and I was falling asleep. I leaned against something warm and close my eyes.

(Jonathan's POV)

I was waiting for Luke to wake up. As I was waiting (Y/N) leaned against me and started to sleep. Her snores were soft and cute she kinda sounds like a cat. I put my arm around her body and she snuggled up closer to me. I smiled as I felt her chest breathing in and out against my side.

Why does this feel nice? I thought.

After a couple hours I started to feel sleepy. My eyes started to heavy but I refused to fall asleep. I couldn't stop myself and fell asleep with (Y/N) cuddling me.

(Luke's POV)

I heard a beeping noise but from where. My body hurt like a ton of rocks fell on top of me. The beeping continued and I couldn't help but try to listen for more noises. I could hear snoring in the background. I tried to open my eyes but it was hard. As my eyes slowly opened I was faced with a bright light. I closed my eyes because of the light then reopened them to let them adjust to the light.

Ugh! I groaned.

My head hurt so much but why does it hurt and where am I? I thought.

I looked to my right and saw that it was  sunrise. I looked down at myself and saw I was in a hospital bed wearing a hospital robe. I looked to my left and saw Jon and a girl. She seemed to have fallen asleep on Jon.

J-Jon. I said quietly.

He continued to sleep. I looked around the room and saw my stuff. My clothes, phone and keys were placed on top of a small dresser looking thing.

What happened last night? I asked.

Mmmm. Jon groaned.

The girl yawned and opened her eyes. Jon then opened his eyes and they both looked at each other and blushed red. I laughed a little at this and they looked at me.

Luke your awake! Jon said.

Hi Jon. I said quietly.

Morning. The girl said.

J-Jon what happened last night? I asked quietly.

They both looked at each other then back at me.

Luke we honestly don't know. Jon said.
