Chapter 8

(Your POV)

We walk to a nearby diner and order some food. 

So (Y/N) how is your secret holding out? Lui asked.

No one other then my family, a family friend, and Minx know about it. I hope no one else finds out until I'm ready. I said.

Well before we left to come here I got this for you. Lui said.

Lui took his bag off and pulled out a big hard covered book. The book title said Spiritual Powers in gold.

You didn't have to do this Lui. I said.

No no really I did I want to help you train. Lui said.

Umm ok so what are you exact training me here cause you know this power is connected to my emotional, mental, and physical behavior right? I said.

Yeah we read some of the book already but we want to help you with some of your training. We really hate having to see you struggle not to make contact with people. Arlan said.

Fine I'll let you help me with training but only if you agree to control your throwing habit Arlan. I said.

Fine I'll try to. Arlan pouted.

Then out food came and we ate. We left the diner and we still had time to hang out.

So whatcha wanna do? I asked.

I don't know. Lui said.

We have at least a few hours until I have to go. I said.

Let's go climb a tree. Arlan said.

Alright onward to the forest! I said.

We ran off to the forest and wandered around for a little while.

You know what fuck climbing a tree I haven't walked around in a forest with you nerds for a while. I said.

Yeah it's been a while hasn't it? Lui said.

This is nice you know I got ta ask ya Lui what happened to the others after I left? I asked

I don't know they moved at least a year ago. I miss them we were the Vanoss Crew. Lui said.

The worst part is I lost contact with them cause Arlan throw my phone at the wall and it broke. Lui said.

You know umm Lui I hate to say this but I kinda forgot about them until now. I don't know why but I just forgot about them I wish I could remember it's so hard. I said.

Well you know what we're gonna try and fix that. Well try is the keyword here. Arlan said.

How I can hardly remember their names let alone their faces. I said.

We'll find a way I know it. Arlan said.

I got an idea but it involves your training. Lui said.

Really you do? I asked.

Yeah what if we can control your powers so that you could go to our minds and see our pasts. Lui said.

That's a great idea we got to start training soon then. I said.

It's final we're starting your training. Lui said.

Well what are we waiting for let's go! I said.

Alright let's see here. Lui said while pulling the book out of his bag again.

I took the book out of his hand and looked at it. I opened to the first page and saw a journal entry. I flipped the pages to find more journal entries. Each of them marked with a Ω.

Hmm Lui where exactly did you get this book? I asked.

I found it in the old section of the old library before we moved. The librarian told me I could keep it. Lui said.

Hmm this person whoever they are seems to have been writing in this for a few years seeing the condition it's in and the dates on these pages. I said while flipping thought the big book.

I continued to look at the pages until a small journal entry caught my eye.

June 28

Today is my birthday. This day is the anniversary of my friend leaving with her family. I still miss her to this day. I wish I could see her again and see what powers she has. I haven't talked to her for 5 years. On the other hand my Spiritual Power seem to be under control. My friend Terroriser has been a little out of himself. I haven't talked to Terroriser in a week he seems to be ignoring us. I think it's because of him be depressed. His powers have been giving him nightmares lately. I don't understand why thought he hasn't used that power for a whole year. I'm hoping he's not think what I'm thinking but to be safe I'll keep an eye on him. Until I write again.

This person seems similar to someone I know but from where? I said.

That's what I was thinking but who could it be? Lui said.

Well I'll read these entries and maybe I can find out who it is. I said.

I looked at my phone and saw it was almost five o'clock. 

I should get going but I'll see you guys tomorrow? I said.

Yeah we'll probably swing tomorrow. Lui said.

Alright see you tomorrow. I said.

I got up off the ground and started to walk home. For some reason I felt like I was being watched. I continued to walk to home ignoring whatever I felt. As I got to the corner of the street something shadowy was following me. I was gonna take my chances I snapped my fingers and teleport to my house. I unlock the door and walk inside it closing the door behind me. 

What was that thing? I thought.

I walked up to my room and placed the book under my bed. I laid down on my bed and fell asleep.
