Geno shoved Reaper off of the hill, completely silent.

"HOLY SH*T-" Reaper stumbled, landing on his stomach. "God...I didn't actually think you were THAT strong..."
Geno stood up from his spot, blushing madly. He was brushing his hands over his mouth, trying to form words. Reaper groaned, rubbing his back.

"I didn't think you would push me, but I guess I was wrong."

The scarfed skeleton couldn't speak. He stared at the god at the bottom of the hill, his contracted pinpricks never leaving the other. "...reaper."

The god glanced up at Geno, meeting his gaze. "Yes?"

Geno took a shaky breathe. "I...I can't..."

Reaper's eyes widened, his body hurriedly drifting from the ground and floating towards the distressed Geno. "I understand if I was too quick! You don't need to rush yourself over anything-"

"SHSHSHSHSHSH."
Reaper fell silent as Geno shushed him.
"Just...I'm confused."

Reaper cocked an 'eyebrow'. "About what?"

"Gosh, I don't know, you immediately kissing me? I mean, I'm just a piece of trash which doesn't matter. Everything I've done has just ended in failure.  I don't have any benefit to you or possess any important power or-"

Reaper wrapped his arms around Geno, pulling him in a warm embrace. "Shhhh...Shush."

"But-"

"SHHHHH!" Reaper laid a bony finger against Geno's mouth.
"Please, you don't give yourself enough credit!"

"But-"

"No. I won't hear it." The god intertwined his left hand with the other's, slowly closing his eyes. They both stood silently on the hill, listening to everything around them. Geno's soul was pounding.

Everywhere else seemed blurred or vague as his...

Geno no longer knew how to adress Reaper.

A friend

A god

A...

Reaper smiled sweetly. The leaves rustled with a quick breeze  as some distant chirping from birds filled the empty atmosphere. They sang of a sweet song, the god swaying with the tune.

"You...You are something beautiful, Geno. You are unique and different." Reaper gently spun Geno, starting to dance with him.
"I couldn't possibly list all of your flawless traits. I could start, though." The cloaked skeleton stepped with Geno, never missing a beat.
"Beautiful," Reaper pulled Geno closer to himself, the soft thumps of their souls beating as one.
"Delicate," Reaper twirled with him, the scarlet scarf spinning with them.
"Precious," Geno's face was growing blue at each comment he made, the words drifting in the air as if they were true. Though, the god stated them as if they were true.
Maybe they were.
"Breathe-Taking," Reaper slowed to a stop under the tree, the night sky blanketing the earth. The stars twinkled brightly as the moon shone it's radiance over the land. The moonlight touched the hill, providing light for the two skeletons. Reaper opened his eyes, meeting Geno's deep ones.
"Perfect." Geno's chest was exploding with emotion as he saw the pure love in Reaper's eye sockets.

Overwhelmed, Geno buried his face into Reaper's chest. The god let out a small chuckle as he stroked Geno's back.
"And nothing can change those facts."

~~~
Soft humming came from Reaper as he flew across the sky. Geno was cradled in his arms, refusing to speak. Soon, they both touched down in front of Life's sanctuary. Reaper strode in swiftly, walking quietly. Despite his silence, Life detected his presence and opened the door to her home.
