~~💔~~

Geno let out a yawn. He had been sitting quietly with Reaper on the couch as usual, reading an interesting novel.

"Tired?" Reaper asked, looking up from a book he was reading as well. It had a leathery black cover, the binding made of a couple of raven bones. It appeared ancient.

"Kind of." Geno sighed, his gaze faltering. "I mean, I think I consumed enough caffeine for it to probably be my new 'blood stream' now."

"Heh. I guess I'm the only one which is a coffee man, then." Reaper chuckled, grabbing a warm mug of coffee and sipping it.

"Pfft. Yeah. I think you live off of the stuff."

"Hey, if coffee disappeared from the world forever, I would probably die right then and there."

"Wait, really?"

"Yes. Because I am one-hundred percent serious,  Geno."

Geno rolled his non-existent eyes. "I was just curious, geez."

"What, are you going to find a way to make coffee disappear? If you are, I'm just gonna have to stop you right there."
For the first time, Reaper's empty eye-sockets shown a brilliant blue iris, similar to the one Geno had in his left eye-socket.
It was blazing dangerously, a silent threat lingering in it's stare.

Geno blinked, then poured magic into his left eye-socket as well. "Look, we're glowing buddies." Geno laughed, his 'eye' shining as well.

Reaper's terrifying expression morphed into a jovial smile. "Oh my god, Geno, I was trying to be scary."

"OH, SO NOW YOU WANT TO BE SCARY, HUH?" Geno smiled, his iris turning back to it's usual snow white.

"Hey, you were threatening my life supply of happiness." Reaper retorted, taking a considerably large gulp of his beverage.

"Heh..." Geno's smile wavered.

His life supply, huh? Geno's life supply used to be his fam-

He paused.

Oh god. What had he been doing? He knew that he decided to stop worrying about them, but...It was his FAMILY. Something might have happened to them. Something really, REALLY terrible. They all might be suffering as he just sat on his lazy *ss and did nothing.

God, he was a terrible person. He knew the kid was still alive. The main threat to all the ones he loved. Why did he stop? The whole reason for him to stay alive was to stop the main threat at all costs. Why was he sitting around and doing nothing? He was supposed to be working on a way to kill the demon...

or...
Erase his world forever. That was the most successful idea out of his options.

What if there was a different way to erase his world?

To end it?

What if-

"Geno?" The skeleton blinked, turning back to Reaper.

Geno forcefully stuffed his thoughts to the back of his head, clearing his mind. "Yes?"

"Uh...you were spacing out there."

"Well, I guess I'm just 'out of this world' then."

"...That was terrible." Reaper snickered.

"Heh...yeah."

"...Are you okay?"

Geno met Reaper's concerned stare. His eyes were back to it's comfortable emptiness. "Uh. Yeah, why'd you ask?"
