LUNCH TIME had approached and today's rehearsals were basically the only thing everyone in the castleteria were talking about, friends who weren't in on the the play chat with those who did, eager to get the new information — I mean, gossip. Everyone was and still is super excited of this play.

I sat down on a table where the others were sitting, hearing them talk about what occurred a while ago, all the while eating my spaghetti quietly, engaged in my own thoughts.

What am I doing?

It seems as if whenever Chase was around, we seem to get pull intimate stuff with each other, like the hugs and the forehead kisses. It seemed so unreal to me. I mean I did like Chase but what are we? I mean, does he return my feelings of admiration or is he just playing with my feelings? Its hard to know.

"Penny for your thoughts?" a voice sounded beside me as I heard someone slide into the seat next to me.

"How about a dollar?" I joked as I stared at Chase.

By the name of Fairy Godmother, isn't he handsome?

He chuckled. "Jeez, I believe I'm broke here. But anyways what were you thinking about?"

I shrugged as I averted my gaze from him and ate my spaghetti. Come on, I can't exactly tell him I was thinking about him, can I?

"Stuff." I reply as I swallowed the food and wiped my mouth with a tissue.

"Hm does this involve me?" Chase joked while smiling as he took a piece of his roasted pork.

"Don't be too cocky. That's not good for you." I say half-warningly, wagging my finger in a no motion.

"It's not cocky if it's actually true." Chase says, food still in his mouth.

I blushed at his words and exclaimed "H-hey! Don't talk when your mouth is full!"

Chase just grinned back as he chewed happily, really enjoying his lunch as of the moment.

Once he swallowed his bite, he said "But seriously, if you have any problems, you can rely on me okay?"

I smiled gratefully at him and replied "Thanks Chase, I might be able to take you up on that offer someday."

"And I'll be waiting." he replied, smiling goofily while munching down his lunch.

"So Darling, do you have a date at the Christmas dance yet?" Briar buts in Chase and I's conversation, looking at me with mischief.

"You know that isn't until about next month Briar." I reply, twirling the spaghetti with my fork and eating it.

Ever After High had formal events almost every holiday, such as the Christmas ball (which is still next month), Valentine's ball, Legacy Day and lots more. This month, we didn't get the chance to celebrate Halloween since the school had a late opening.

"But still! Do you have a date?" She presses on, smiling wide.

Then I feel pressure on my shoulders; looking at the culprit I could see it was of course, Chase.

"Of course! Me!" Chase boasted.

I glanced at him and narrowed my eyes, what was he playing at?

"Oh really? My, I never recalled you ever asking me to the dance." I taunt, tapping my finger against my chin.

"Well, Darling Charming, would you do me the honor of attending the Christmas dance with me?" Chase asked, looking at me with puppy eyes.

I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Alright, since no one would ever ask me again if I turned down this offer, fine."

"Oh-em-gee! You guys are so mega adorable!" Ashlynn squealed as she leans towards Hunter Huntsman, who was seated beside her.

"Yeah, I ship, man." Hunter says, grinning at Chase.

"My baby sister will not be going to the dance with this guy!" Daring exclaims dramatically, waving his hands in the air, Rosabella rolling her eyes right beside him.

"Why not?! They are my otp!" Rosabella argued.

Daring glanced at her and his eyes softened, aw he's got it bad for her.

"Fine, I'll allow you to take her to the dance. That's it." Daring grumbled.

"Eek! This is great news for my MirrorBlog!" Blondie squeaked happily as she claps her hands.

"Wait wait wait, can we just calm down here guys? I mean, he just asked me to the dance, he didn't ask me to be his girlfriend." I awkwardly say, waving my hand.

"Yet." Chase exclaims, his eyes gleaming with mischief and some unidentified emotion I couldn't decipher.

And, royals and rebels, the whole cafeteria exploded.

Not literally of course.
