hey guys! wanted to announce that im going to skip the story a month from now so it'll be december in their time and it's going to be the eve of their annual christmas dance (as what briar referred to in chapter 18) and their play would start in about two months which would be in february. so hope this will clear some confusion in this chapter and other chapters onward.

(btw as much as i would love to put everything in this chapter, it would be too long so the ball would be divided into chapters 21 and 22)

IT WAS TONIGHT. Tonight is the night wherein the annual Christmas ball of Ever After High was going to happen. Now, everyone was rushing around the school, with Christmas decorations littering around the hallways and students rushing back and forth as they prepare for tonight since today was a no class and rehearsal day.

"Darling! Hey, let's meet at Apple and Raven's room tonight to dress up and do each other's makeup!" Briar hurriedly says as she walked past me with a slight stressful expression on her face. Then with that, she quickly walked away, probably to take a facial mask or something.

I glanced at the retreating figure of Sleeping Beauty's brother and smiled to myself, this night was going to be a blast for sure.

Pulling my MirrorPhone, I quickly opened Chase and I's chat then typed:

heya! you can pick me up tonight at 6:30-ish. going to be wearing a snowy blue in case ur wondering. see you tonight :--))

Chase and I recently swapped numbers hence to why I can text him now and whenever I can.

A reply buzzed.

got that princess! see you tonight, excited to see you xx

My face heats up when I see the two double letter x but shrugged it off. Preparing for the ball is much more important, I can worry about that later on.

Walking towards my room, I immediately opened the door and saw a stressed out Rosabella Beauty. When she saw me, she immediately pulled my arm and closed the door abruptly.

"Darling! In the name of Fairy Godmother, where were you!? We need to prepare and be at Raven and Apple's place ASAP. C'mon grab your dress and stuff you need for the ball!" With that, she released me and threw open her own closet, pulling out a dress covered in its protective cover but I can see the dress is a beautiful gold color.

"Alright alright I was just downstairs in the hallways, don't get so worked up Bells." I chuckled then pulled out my own dress in my closet, hints of a snowy blue color appearing in the dress cover.

After, I pulled out a small bag and placed all the things I needed for the preparation such as my required tiara, eyeliner and some other makeup with neutral and some bright colors. I also brought a small cover for my heels.

"You ready? Come on, let's go!" Rosabella quickly took my arm and dragged me to the door, with everything being held in my hands.

Once we got out of the dorm, Bella and I dashed on the girl's hallway and stopped in front of a door with golden designs on the first half and the other half with some dark purple ones. An indicator that this was Apple and Raven's room.
