Chapter 4 - Night Before High School

Casper's POV

One week!, one week passed when I had to hide in my own damn house; Kendall and Kylie was there for that remaining week after they met my sisters and my twin brother. Apparently they are all best friends now, I would always here them in the hallways going to Wyatt's room giggling. But I am thankful for Parker and River for keeping me company when I needed someone to be with, we would watch movies together and he would play his guitar and I would play piano or the violin and we would put his original songs into play until Kylie would ask him to hang out with them, and I always understood that he should go out also. The only time I don't have to hide in my own house is when I would have swimming practice and Parker would have football practice or when River had to work. I would just hang out at the café.  

Right now it's Sunday I was in my room waiting for the sisters to leave the house cause I'm hoping and wishing at the same time that they would leave already because we have school early in the morning tomorrow and I would think they needed their beauty rest since it's their first day and all. The time was like a ticking time bomb in this part my stomach was growling and I don't know if I can hold it any longer so I called the phone by the kitchen hoping that Kendall nor Kylie will pick it up. Kinda thankful my mother gave us Italian lessons when we were kids, I mean we actually needed to learn Italian because of my mother's parents. 

Ringgggg...

> Ciao! A chi è questo? (Hello! Who's this?)
> È River, Casper?
> Sí! Qualcuno può portarmi cibo nella mia stanza? (Yes, can someone bring me food in my room?)
> Perché non venite qui e prendetelo?, sono andati. (Why don't you come down here and get it? they're gone.)> Perché non mi hai fatto? Ho affamato qui. (Why didn't you tel me? I've been starving here)

> Vieni qui bella per favore. (Just come here beautiful please) 

As I was coming down the stairs I could here my parents and my siblings talking and laughing. My dad saw coming down and said. "how's my youngest daughter?" "I've been better dad after the cramps, I'm just gonna get some food"

As I entered the marbled covered kitchen, I see my sister River making a sandwich, then handed it to me. "Here you go, for helping me out at the cafe today." I smiled at her gesture because all I did was take orders and cleaned the countertops. 

"No, thank you!, I've been hungry!!" I said and kissed my sister on the cheeks.  

"You know you could always just come down whenever the Jenner's are here right? I'm sure they wouldn't say anything." River said with her sad eyes.

"I don't know Rivs, I'll think about it. I just don't want to risk all you guys' effort for keeping it this long. I know you all have sacrificed for me." 

"I wouldn't call it a sacrifice honey, I thought of it as a step into a new and great beginning." my said behind me, which startled me. I didn't know my parents and siblings were in the room until I turned around. 

"GROUPHUG!!!" Parker and I said in unison. 

"Oh lord, my babies are growing up so fast.. You guys have a wonderful first day tomorrow. And I trust River will be in charge until me and your father comes back from our business trip okay?" our mom being motherly.

"Sí Mama" we said in unison.

"Now go up to your rooms and have a good night sleep alright." 

She kissed our cheeks before her and dad when upstairs to to their room, so did Parker and Wyatt. River didn't want to leave me alone by myself so she kept me company while I was still eating. She told me stories about her junior days in High School and said it was one of the best times of her life. She's probably telling me all this because I skipped freshman year and sophomore year because the teachers said I was too advanced in lecture, even when those class were already AP classes. They were gonna send me to senior year but that would mean I only have 1 year of experience in high school and I didn't want that so we compromised, I said I can be a junior if they want to advance my studies. So tomorrow It's gonna be my 1st day as a junior in High School, kinda off if you're only 16 and a half and already a junior. Though I'm looking forward to high school especially the swim team, I didn't really get to meet all of the swimmers during the Chamberlin Swim Summer Program but I did make close friends during those weeks before school. I just wish they wouldn't be intimidated about my swimming skills and I'm hoping for that captain position if I can get it. By the time I finished my dinner, River's eyes were already looking heavy so I just carried her bridal style to her room, which at first she declined but I'm very good with my words so she just went along with it. I could see she was so exhausted from a day at work, I know it's hard owning your own business especially when that business is booming and are branching out soon so I could see the changes in my sister's physical appearance like her eye bags and when she always yawns. I just wish when school starts I can still help her out around the cafe and even manage it if she's gone for a business trip, it's at least I could do for her kindness to me and my other siblings.
