It's been two days since Catalina's fall, she seems to be healing nicely thankfully, but her head does hurt occasionally for short periods of time.
"Hey wake up" i said as i slowly shook her shoulder. She hummed in response and rolled over on her back. "Breakfast is ready"
Cat held her arms out and closed her eyes "carry meee" her voice low and groggy.
I sighed and did it anyways because i kinda feel bad. I do because obviously i love my little sister and im kind of to blame for this but hey, i met Vanessa out of it. I swooped her up, as to her only weighing like 95 pounds, and jogged down stairs to the kitchen where Aj was standing up at the counter eating cereal and watching something on his phone...way too close to his face.
"The hell are you doing?" I asked.
"Looking for a cute pornstar. They always look good in thumbnails but look eh in videos" he huffed.
I slapped his shoulder as i walked past him and sat Cat down on the dining room chair. "Can you not say that infront of Cat?"
He shrugged his shoulders and took a big bite of his coco pebbles before saying, "Well mind your business next time" with a full mouth. "And its not like she knows anyways"
*bzzzz bzzzzz*
"Cat do you want eggs and sausage or cereal?" I asked before answering my phone. "Hello?"
"Hey what are you guys doin?" My mom asked.
"Nothing, just eating breakfast" i looked over my shoulder and seen Cat laying down with her head on her arm. " Cat? Which one?"
"Sausage and eggs" she sighed. She's totally not a morning person, just like me...and everyone else in this house.
"Mmm leave me some sausage" my mom giggled softly. "Im starving, i had to miss lunch today because a patient had a mental breakdown" she huffed.
I let out a fake giggle and prepared Cats plate for her before walking it over. "What time do you get off today?" I asked.
"Like 3 minutes ago, i have to take Cat to her follow up appointment" she sighed. "Im just trying to finish up really quick"
Follow up appointment...meaning possible chance of seeing Vanessa... "ill take her" i shrugged. "I have the weekend off and im bored"
"Actually that would be great so i can look over my new cases" she let out a relived sigh before continuing with, "thank you"
"Alright im gonna finish eating and then get us ready, ill call you after her appointment"
"Okay! Love you guys! Byeee"
"Love you" i hung up and set my phone on the counter until it went off again, and again, and ag- you get the point.
