*bzzzzz bzzzzzzzz*
I slowly woke up from my dream and seen my phone screen was bright. My eyes were so blurry I couldn't even read the screen.
Wait.. white, greenish blue, brown. Its Vanessa.
"He-hello?" I mumbled. Stretching my limbs out to the point of me shaking.
"Time to work girl! Get up!" She giggled. "Im out side"
I couldn't help but smile as i stood up to look out my window. I pulled the blinds up a little bit and waved.
"You're so silly, come on!! Im on call!" She held her phone to her shoulder and clapped at me in her car.
"Alright, alright!" I yelled softly. "Ill be down in a sec." I pressed end and rolled my eyes before shutting the blinds.
I cleared my throat and hopped back over to the bed while trying to put socks on."Uh bella!" I shouted loud enough for her to hear me.
"Mm" she lifted her head off my pillow a little and looked at me confused. "Why are you wearing scrubs? Its cute" her voice was very soft but thick with sleep.
I smiled and slid on my cloth grey nike prestos.
*bzzz bzzz*
"Uh i have to go to work" Okay keys, travel mug, mac book, backpack. I mentally check marked my thoughts and hesitantly ran over to the bed. "Uhm ill uh-" i looked like an idiot. I was basically floating over her face doing facial exercises. Okay maybe I'm being over dramatic. I quickly kissed her and made my way outside. "Ill see you later! Please watch Cat until my brother comes home? Pleasee" i begged in the doorway.
She giggled and waved me off. "Okay, go away it's literally 4:30 in the morning."
I jogged downstairs and quickly locked the door behind me. "Morning" my voice bounced around as i jogged to the passenger side.
"Here- you got us coffee this morning" she giggled.
"God this thing is huge" i picked up the 30oz coffee cup and took a sip. "Extra Carmel?" I nodded. "Good choice" i shot her an appreciative smile and put on my seat belt before she took off.
"Also, made with half and half, not coconut or regular." she added.
She remembered my full coffee order. Wow my heart.
Show off. "I thought you were letting me rest for the day?" I asked.
"Its past 12, today is a new day"
Either shes a morning person or shes had a cup of coffee already. I discreetly shook my bead. "I think i wanna go to school for this" i turned my head and looked at her in the violet light and shrugged.
"I can get you a job as a PT so the hospital will pay for some of it!" She gave me an over exaggerated smile and squeezed my hand. "Aww see i must be a good mentor"
I rolled my eyes and tried to keep it cool. "I didn't say all of that" i joked.
"Drink your coffee and shut up" she shot me a smile while briefly looking at me. "Nice hair" she laughed.
I quickly pulled the visor down and slid the beige plastic piece to the right. "Oh god" i huffed. "I look like ass"
"Welcome to my life." She flew into a parking spot and rushed out of the car. "Come on, we have a car accident waiting for us inside."
I grabbed my coffee and my bag, quickly rushing along side Vanessa into the hospital. I could hear a woman arguing with someone the closer we got.
