[Jihoon]:

I honestly thought when he meant 'go out' I expected it to be another thing but thank god it wasn't.

The night was breezy and the small flickering lights decorated on the trees were really satisfying.

We seem to be in a garden, but it was too big and amazing for me to even think of it as one, I mean, i rarely have this big of a garden.

"What is the place?" I asked him.

"My favorite place, and I'm sharing it with my favorite person."

"Omg, that was so smooth."

"I know right?" He replied.

I looked at his eyes, they were sparkling from the fairy lights, and they became even more appealing.

"What?" He asked.

"Did you always have that natural color?"

"My eyes?"

I nodded.

His only reply was a smile, and there was only silence afterwards.

But he broke it.

"Say, prince Jihoon how do you think of Prince Soonyoung?"

"Soonyoung? Well, he's alright. I don't know if I can say the same thing about his hair." I say, chuckling.

"Ahh.."

"Yeah. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, um... Just asking. What about... Me?"

"You too?"

"Huh?"

I rolled my eyes, "Prince Soonyoung asked me the same thing about you, what is this some kind of competition?"

"No no no! I'm just really curious, that's all. Some say I kind of uh... Act like the prince himself."

"Oh... Well, to me, not really."

"You just met him awhile ago, of course you would say that."

"Pssshh, whatever. I can sense it. You're way better, you feel more... True? Yeah."

"Oh.."

"Yeah.."

"Why do you wear a mask?"

"It makes me feel protected."

"Uh.. huh, doesn't really answer the question."

He chuckled.

"I realized that I sounded like I was confessing to you awhile ago."

"Wanna go out with me?" I said.

Hoshi looked at me, surprised.

"No, I mean, that's what you said earlier right?" I said.

"Oh... Uh, yeah! Yeah, that's what I said earlier that made it seem like some confession thing." He replied, rubbing his nape again, gosh how many times has he done this.

I sighed.

"Well, if your were really going to confess to me, and let's say we fell in love blah blah blah, I don't think it would work out because I'm a prince, and you're not, and that would mean--"

"Whoa whoa whoa whoa! Stop right there, did you really just reject me?" He laughed.

I blushed, I said too much.

"Hey, it's okay, but...I have a question." He said.

"What's so wrong marrying a non-royal blood?"

"Duties. I have plans and duties. I don't intend to marry anyone. And... It's our family rules."

It was silent after that.

After awhile, I heard a sigh from Hoshi and he grabbed my hand and pulled me as we walked somewhere.

"Where are we going?"

He didn't answer.

I don't know why, but I did not struggle to get out from his grip, and I did not demand him to let me go, instead, I followed.

It's weird, I don't usually act like this, I'm usually jumpy and I really observe my surroundings, but why is it that I'm not applying those things right now when I need it the most? Like, this does seem fishy.

But I chose not to let go, I chose to only observe him, I chose to follow.

I trust him.

Maybe... Maybe because he feels really familiar. He reminds me of someone.

"Here."

"What?" I snapped out from my thoughts.

"I said sit here prince Jihoon." He smiled. It was a comforting smile, and I trusted it.

I sat down on a bench, where he pointed. We were now in a smaller place, but it was much more calming and beautiful.

It felt so secret, but it was a comfortable kind of secret, a secret that you did not have to worry about knowing if it's about you or not.

The place had a big tree in the middle with blue fairylights on it.

There were also many flowers of Rose Quartz Serenity surrounding us.

And to top it all off, there were small tiny yellow lights on the bushes and some on the ground that made the place look like it was naturally sparkling.

"Damn, this place looks and feels so magical." I said to him.

"Thank you, I made this myself..."

My eyes widened, "you what?! That's amazing!" I nearly jumped out of my bench to hug him, but thank god I didn't.

Hoshi smiled wide.

He then pulled me up and brought me close to him.

"Omg, stop surprising me everytime." I said. He laughed and I do too.

"Was that sarcasm?" He asked.

"Boy, most of our conversation is lowkey filled with it."

He then holds my hand, the other he positioned it on my waist.

"What are you doing...?" I asked nervously.

"Shhh, listen."

I listened, and I heard music from the mansion.

"We're kind of missing it out, so I decided to have our own party."

He said it so smoothly, like there was no other choice in the world.

"Why the fuck are you so smooth?" I asked smiling. He smirked and pulled me closer.

"Let's dance." And I stuttered an 'ok'.

Thank god it was kind of dark, dark enough for him not to see how much of a blushing mess I am.

We swayed to the music.

Usually, this would be awkward for me, but again, this place felt like a secret but it was a comfortable kind, and he's the reason why it was.
